The master artisans are some of the last of their kind because no one is going into their craft any more which makes hiring them extremely expensive, combined with the cost of the most premium materials, and having to spend money to market and advertise the bags.

If you were handmaking and selling these bags, you laugh at someone wanting one for $300.
