When I was in the military I was in a unit that had PJs. We had a combat rescue officer who came up with "the viking". The Viking is a workout where you "load the boat, row the boat, unload the boat, run to the castle, raid the castle, run back to the boat, load the boat, row the boat, unload the boat". Guys would get really into it and it would get pretty competitive. My first one ended with me dry heaving on the ground. The most brutal workout I've ever had was 8ish years ago, around 2018, I've done a deadlift and lunges session for some fucking reason. I woke up really strong that day so I could push heavy, I started with 3 sets of deadlifts and finished with 2 or 3 sets of lunges, I remember I couldn't finish the last set properly. By the end I was so fucked, I could barely walk back home. I remember I stopped by to purchase some apples, and I was so fucked I dropped them all on the ground, a car passed and smashed one of my apples that rolled down the street.That was the most brutal gym workout ever.But if I think about the most fucked up brutal insane physical activity I've ever had period, last year I brought my house and began renovations. To save up some cash, I did most of the stuff myself, including carrying rubble bags.Imagine like 80 rubble bags in total filled with concrete and rubble, building materials, old doors, wooden planks and all sorts of building shit, I had to carry by hand all the way to the truck and load it. I must have fucked myself really hard because by the end of it my piss was brown and my left knee is still bad even today as we speak.
