>>77285803you dont want one thats "too rubbered" or your dumbell will be chafing against your thighs while youre curling.you should buy something that has clamps that is "skruvad" im guessing its not translated to "screwed on".. or buy a 3 sets of x2 dumbells.the average of most men on dumbells is 10kg - 17.5 - and thirties.thats three sets of x2 dumbells thatll like be expensivebut thats should be enough for everything u need like curls, pullovers and db press.just beware not to get ones that is too thick or youll be irritated by chafing dumbellsand dont get one that use "squeeze clamps" or the plates might slide off.

>>77286366>I do up to 50kg on pulloverbut will you really buy a set of dumbells only for pullovers?
>>77286386No, I would buy an adjustable set of up to 80-100 lbs(depending on a good deal)for many different exercises, and go to the gym I frequent for heavier days. I only need one that can also do pullovers without the design causing improper form or falling over as I place it on its side to pick it up during pullover setup.

>>77285824>700€ for 2X34Kgwhat the fuck, are adjustable dumbbells always this expensive?
>>77287496Good ones yeah, and ironmasters are on the cheaper end per pound. There are rep peppins, snodes, nuobells, powerblocks, etc. They all have tradeoffs between ease of changing weights, weight limits and expansions, long term durability and warranties beyond 2 years, how much if any rattle they have in motion, able to adjust in smaller increments than 5lbs, etc. Ironmasters sacrifice the first thing in order to max out every other stat. There are also olympic dumbbell handles that can take 2" plates that fit barbells, Titan makes decent ones, but those are even more annoying to set up than ironmasters and much clunkier to use and mean you need to buy more 10lb plates than you'd normally want. Just don't get something cheap with a low weight limit like 50lb bowflexes, you're only wasting money in the long term.
>>77286367>>77286553Feels so good knowing I got my Ironmasters ten years ago when they still included the storage bench/stand for free with the 75lbs set. Aside from some nicks and chips in the paint, mine look and function like brand new.>retard needs his convenient quick change 80lb limit snodesHonestly I don’t like any of these newer quick change ones, even the reppins everyone jizzed their pants over last year. Ask people why, and they always say “u can do supersets!” Supersets are so gd overrated in 2026. Ironmasters are also a pretty good deal compared to Reppins.
>>77286553MX100 Evolution is comparable
>>77287525Hand placement for pullovers like OP is looking for won't work for those too well

First time I've seen this exercise discussed on this board and I want to chime in to express my extreme discontent with it. Either the weight is too high, and it feels like putting a shit ton of stress on my joints and tendons when I'm putting the weight behind my head. Or, the weight is way too low, and I can comfortably do like 9 gorillion reps. What is the solution?
>>77287656Drop the hips for more stretch, also do a vacuum while performing the exercise.
>>77287656Dunno if this helps but yesterday i had no bench and finished my lifts with pullovers in the floor which i guess gives worse ROM but i had a great pullover session. I did expect to feel it more in my lats today which i dont.
>>77285803problem between bench and dumbell
>>77287624...Fuck
>>77287656Sounds like you got weak bitch tendons and joints. I love the exercise, the stretch overhead with a heavy weight feels great.
>>77287757>>77287624>>77287537Surely it ain't that bad?
>>77285881Yeah, you can’t do pullovers with those
>>77287624You don't flat hand the plate. You maintain a double hand axe grip when doing pullovers. Anyone who flat hands a side of the a dumbell when doing them does not know how to do them.
