>11g protein per slice

>$8 for one loaf with ten slices at my Walmart.
Oh...oh...

My personal favorite is the plain white keto
>35 calories and 6g protein per slice
>less than $6 at my Walmart for 12 slices, not including the end pieces

It's expensive but I have that shit every day, slap some bumblebee tuna on it and I got a 150 calorie sandwich with damn near 30g of protein

>they're marketing regular fortified bread as "protein bread" to appeal to tiktok slopfed zoomers
>you fell for it
kek

i tried shit fuck tons of these.. carbonut, sola, hero, blah blah. they taste OK and money isn't the issue, but i don't like the high fiber content. these are for weight cutting at best, and def. not good for gains. my gf still buys sola bread. these are definitely for bitches.

Some retarded faggot is gonna say muh chemicals or whatever

>>77286013
bread aint supposed to look like that

hyper trvke
>>
>>77286504
it aint supposed to keep for a week either. bread goes stale after a day or two
>>
>>77286013
You don't. You throw this shit in the bin.

I’m afraid this anon >>77286078 is correct. it is just a scam to get you to pay more for bread with some cheap filler ingredient. or potentially a way to pay less tax.

if you actually care about price, the cheapest effective protein per calorie is going to be something like bread/rice and beans/peas (leaning more on the bean/pea side).

The diaas of kidney beans, and realistically by proxy pinto beans is around 88 in adults, and it is much cheaper than other protein sources on a protein/$ basis. Split peas and pinto beans are cheaper that the cheapest milk, eggs or meat per g protein even when weighting by DIAAS.

Protein scoring is retarded and denounced by every scientific community already. Nobody is eating one type of protein 24/7.
>>
>>77286878
It isn’t retarded it’s just complex and genuinely relevant for vegans and people in poverty. The DIAAS scores are admittedly less useful than the per AA DIAAS profiles, which are useful exactly because they can be combined to integrate over the course of the day. But it is perfectly plausible that there will be singular dominant sources of protein in a vegan or peasant-type diet that may not be the most effective.

The only thing that is being denounced is the need to put these all in the same meal

Anon learns what the word fortified means.
>>
>>77286816
>protein per calorie
>protein per $
Two massively different things.
>>
>>77286013
the salt and sugar
>>
>>77287179
They are, and yet both relevant to people, forming a tradeoff space
