Top set backoffs
1x3 85 - 90% 1RM (this is the top set)
3x6 70% 1RM (this is your back off sets for volume)
Do this 2 or 3 times weekly.
You can do up to 5x8 for the 70% volume work. The secret is you add weight to the top set each week. Do not add weight to the volume sets. Run it for 4 to 6 weeks and deload.
Adjust the volume sets up or down on weight or reps as needed to keep the top set going up in weight. If your top set keeps going up do not adjust the volume work, since its fucking working you idiot. Only adjust the volume work when it stops working to push the top set up. This is something you will need to play with, there is no formula. Usually more weight is the way to go but if they become too heavy you will also regress. Sorry but you will have to learn to listen to your body. You're welcome btw this will grow your bench and really any other lift like crazy.
