Study well as a kid so you don't end up as a blue collar or zogbot.

I want to be able to crush a human skull with my bare hands. I can do an opossum no problem, and cats can't be much harder, but I have no clue how to progressive overload beyond that.

The BUSAR fitness test would fit the bill.

This tests are cool, but how do you actually train for them?
>>
You got 3 aspects
>neural
>muscular endurance
>muscle strength

muscle strength = hypertrophy, core (not just abs but all the small staff that stabilizes unilateral movements) and pulling muscles mostly, doesn't matter if compounds or iso

endurance = mitochondria density, just do tabata on attack bike best as you can

neural = train bounciness and speediness of torso rotation and ground contact mostly

Someone redpill me on tactical barbell
>>

If I remember correctly, it is largely based of submaximal intensity, moderate frequency. Essentially getting strong and conditioned without burning out or sacrificing the day to day.

I like it. I think it's a good general purpose fitness program. I'm a civilian now, but I run it, and I find that it keeps me above average across a lot of physical endeavors (Judo/BJJ, road races, lots of outdoor shit like hunting and prospecting work, etc.)
Its not a specialist program, so any specialist will out compete you in their own domain, but you will likely out compete the in all the rest. If you want to be a competitive powerlifter, a body builder or a marathon runner, dont bother with tactical barbell. if you want to be a pretty strong guy who runs half marathons, it works well.
