U have it wrong.

If u eat before training, the food makes blood flow to ur gut, which means theres less blood in ur limbs to fill up for the pump

The best time to train is first thing in the morning, and thats after having slept & digested a high carb dinner for 8-12 hours from the night before. That way ure fully carbed up for the morning training session, and theres no blood being drawn to ur stomach for digestion anymore, therefore ur muscles are fully carbed up and your stomach is finished the digestion process which allows for maximal blood pumping into the muscle

try eat a low fat carb rich pre workout meal about 2-3 hours before your work out. your idea of blood flow targeting is at the level of a middle school level.. the food you eat will break down into simple units that will bring in water into ur muscle.. and when ur training, ur body becomes most efficient to take in carbs without being dependent of insulin.. top level pros including natty pros (those that people are suspicious of being a roider despite clean blood tests) understand this well and take pre/intra carbs for a reason.. the only advantage to fasted lifting is probably focus, which can easily be turned on by a pre workout... overall, fasted lifting is good for maintenance at best or when ur cutting.

Its a great feel to finish your workout by the time regular people just woke up, you feel full of energy and sense of accomplishment.
