There are benefits of course, any exercise is better than no exercise (assuming you dont ACK yourself).

However its not optimal because most of the muscle activation will happen when you are the most tired (near failure), which will be only at the top if you are doing a single rep for 60 seconds. That means that you are not training the muscle equally at all stages of the rep.
