how much protein is "too" much

your body can only process 30g in 4 hours so
30 x (24 / 4) =180g

Going beyond 4x the traditional recommended dosage is probably unwise if you are not a high-performance athlete, but this >>77290949 has been debunked. The quality and source of the protein also matters and affects absoprtion rates but whey, particularly isolated, remains king.

Foamy piss. That's overflow proteinuria and a sign you can't process it all.

Natties need 80-120g protein per day, contrary what castrated roidtroons who have a 500% increase in recovery say.
>>
>>77291133
you know what retard zeke poster that that one anon called out... I might agree with you here, though I think you should aim a lil higher at about 130-150 depending on lean bw if you're natty
>>
>>77290939
You can actually only synthesize 0.8g of protein for every pound of LEAN body mass you have under ideal conditions
When you eat beyond that, it can help you stay lean, but it is generally a hindrance to gaining lean mass
You need a high fat, moderate carb, right amount of protein diet to maximize gains

>>77291073
The problem with quick absorption is that your body processes it slowly so it's more beneficial to eat whole meat than supp slop
>>
>>77291133
Big natties (6'+ at high ffmi) need more
Little guys (5' noobs) need less

>you don't really produce more muscle once last a certain threshold
I have believed this but apparently people who tested to see if eating more protein gained muscle they did. But I suspect it's due to slower digestion along with lifting more or just being at a higher bulk if any.

>need
>perform at adequate or even desirable enough level
>perform at maximum level
I guess the question here is if carbs are better to consume past this point than protein? I say try more sugary and liquid carbs help you get enough carbs in to get more protein but I tend to be more protein heavy.
>>
>>77291494
The problem with tests and studies is that they're short term
I've been lifting for 16 years now and will have to keep lifting indefinitely to make sure I don't have a heart attack or become diabetic given how much mass I have had and still retain

Got a pic of your mom which matches that description (she was over yesterday)
>>

Nah it's more than that and it's also proportional to a person's size and metabolism. A 5'2 manlet probably only needs 30g ever 4hrs but everyone else would benefit from 50g per meal, potentially even more.
>>
>>77291513
It implies that you have a higher than 39g ceiling for protein synthesis. But I think it's digestion.

Something to look into is cortisol spiking and damging your heart by doing way too much cardio and even lifting i"m sure. So basically if you say bench every day for a month and do so with high intensity, you will damage your muscle. It is a precursor to rhabdo and necrosis. For me though potatoes and bread are basically complex carbs and I never had any impulse to overtrain cardio for more than running faster than I thought and getting up to probably 160-180bpm or so on hills and shit idk I never had a bpm watch but lol I wouldn't be doing 6 eggs a day really ever I keep them to 1 or 2 every day or 2.
>>
>>77291881
30g/hr kimd of adds up though. 300+g of protein is an absolute shitload to do consistently every day.
>>
>>77291862
I think you more just got better at carb timing than figured out that you don't need a lot of protein. Also to turn more protein into muscle, you have to raise insulin and is commonly forgotten and timed properly. Also you want to be bulked for a few days, most people don't bulk like that and most people who do don't know as well to be constantly lifting to balance out the excess calories you put on just to get to extra bulked at max bmr.
>>
>>77291862
Even if less calories are required if you have a protein shake or something to easily get 20 calories when you scientifically need it. It seems easier to overdo it slightly with protein but still keeping carbs high when trying to scale the bulking calories.
