Just bought this thing from target.

And holy shit is it so much better than all that artificial flavored crap. I had been drinking protein shake that made me nauseous for the longest time, and I thought all whey protein was made the same until I tried this. Never going back.

Just get another brand. Whey is as generic as it gets.

Some brands are absolute dogshit. Last one I got before >>77295084
was
https://www.amazon.com/Premier-Protein-Whey-Powder-Vanilla/dp/B06ZZ3PJQD/

This is clumpy shit, doesn't dissolve properly, takes like crap due to added sugars. I got scammed into that shit for years. Yet look at the reviews. Likely from bots. Not all whey is created equal anon.
>>
whey is an overpriced scam, you dont need it. Spend that money on real food
>>
>>77294578
>can be about 1$/scoop at 24g/scoop
>80g of protein or more in chicken breast especially 110g
>and that's not even chicken legs or thighs, protip grill or bake skin on and reheat with hot sauce+butter and whatever carbs and veg for a basically complete macro and micro meal that's as cheap as possible. If that's what you're mostly eating though definitely get some supps for vitamins and shit but it's insanely cheap compared to protein powder and ground beef.
>>
>>77295686
>about as expensive as burger meat
>can have 75g+sugars in a bottle
>digests faster so it is the best for breakfast and if you didn't eat and need emergency protein
>can keep 2 blenders full in the fridge
It can be useful, I work in an office so it's just more pragmatic to have than to reheat something in the microwave even though I usually have a meal AND a ton of protein in a shake. I have also changed my lifting to accommodate this, quick workout before work but heavy, and volume it out at night before showering.
>>
>>77294494
no whey I'm buying at that price
>>
>people still buy protein powder when chicken breast exists
Can anyone explain this to me? 99% of people get more than enough protein from 1.5 lb of chicken/daily
>>
>>77295729
If you can make 1lbs of chicken good enough to consume daily good for you. Not everyone can make it so palatable consistently. Maybe if I were a good chef, I'd reconsider.
>>
>>77295745
It's the chewing for me. I'm not proud of it but I have blended up chicken and tofu to chug when I didn't feel like eating
>>
>>77295750
That doesn't sound like something I can stomach at all desu, and I'm not much of a big eater myself.

>>
>>77295766

>>

chicken
>picatta

These will teach you how to make european dishes with wine and shit look up a menu and prep your fridge. Are much nicer but you gotta reheat them and have them with vegetables and potatoes and shit. Try and make a bunch at a time, I can fit just over 1lb in the pan at a time so that's 2 small meals.
>thighs/legs
Grilled or roasted with the skin so its crispy add some oil and salt to the skin and 375-400 depending on the oven and close to the heat coils. Either add whole garlic and rosemary somewhere around 1/2 of the way in so it doesn't overly brown, or simply have a thing to drench in hot sauce.

It would take me less time to go to mcdonalds than to heat up my pan and make a bacon burger.
>heat up smallest pan to fit 2 thin smash burgers
>cut lettuce and onions as it cooks
It's called prepping. Since I've started trying to improve my cooking, I've realized that the advertised protein and calories in restaurant food is way overly exaggerated.
>>
>>77295780
And btw it's traditional to use the whole chicken in most of these dishes, I just am saying that if I'm in both a rush and on a budget than oil salt and hot sauce is pretty cheap with an empty pantry. Garlic is insanely cheap too, herbs can go a long way, spices buy in bulk but theyre worth it like I just whipped up some bbq dry rub that smacks so I can just throw it onto any slow cook cut of meat and have ez protein all day.
>>
>>77295085

vanilla really is fucky. usually darker variants are OK. but do switch to dymatize for taste and overall satsfaction.
>>
>>77294494
Just drink more milk, 1% milk is 1700kcal and 128g protein for like $3. 1oz/per gram of protein, drink a 20oz cup of milk with each meal. It's probably better for you anyways, less lead.
>>
>>77296183
When the nutritional chart doesn't tell you the daily value, it's a telltale sign it is incomplete protein.

Idk if that's intrinsic to the whey though. The OP brand I looked up the nutritionfacts for has a lot of additives. It would probably be better to compare with this anon's protein brand >>77295084 here.

>>77296205
Wheat gluten is quite obviously not a complete protein. I wouldn't be able to tell you what specific amino acid it's missing without looking it up. You could probably even out the amino acid profile by mixing in other flours or powdered milk. But I'd rather just eat other food in addition to it.

>>77296208
Gluten is a word for protein
Unless you have a disease that prevents you from digesting it, avoiding gluten would be like avoiding red meat

>>77296217
I knew a gardener that ate ice cream every day and he lived into his nineties completely mobile and lucid. I think your health might be genetic

It's not even a lot of sugar, you're just a jelly.
>>77296217
Milk is S tier if you are genetically superior and can handle it
>>
>>77296331

there's a new milk called ultra filtered milk. lower sugar, more protein through an additional filtering. no fairlife milk, no life.
>>
>>77296331
You have acne and foul body odor.
>>
here is a truth nuke for (You):
eat a big block of cheese. The yellow and bittersweet type that is high in cySTEINe and whey.
It is cheaper and tastier.
Cheese blocks are the superior option and my point can not be disproven.

Milk is bad for you. It's loaded with sugar and you are doing your body a disservice by drinking it.

I still smash cheese and yogurt though.

We're coming full circle here, bros. GOMAD rises again! Don't forget, you're still supposed to eat other food with it.
>>
>>77294534
that is a sometimes treat, not something you should be relying on daily for protein. sodium level is too high.
>>
>>77297186
They smear GOMAD because it's peak nutrition and anti-goyslop-consumerism.
$7 for a lb of beef that you have to actually cook n shit or you can spend $3 for a gallon of milk which is nutritionally superior in every way and doesn't require any prep. The truth is coming out, GOMAD will rise again.
>>
>>77296976
Your bread doesn't have the macros of the nutrition label you posted next to it.
