Does creatine do anything if you don't lift? I had some blood work done and just got my results back. My creatinine levels were 'LOW' at 60, it indicated a healthy range was 70-120 (idk the unit of measurement.)Everything else was in the healthy range except my cholesterol, which was a mixed bag with only 2 of 4 of the scores being good.
>>77295106>Does creatine do anything if you don't lift?Yes, you'll drink more water, piss more often and get a bit heavier.
Plus cognitive superpowers

>>77295132Easy there Dr. Rhonda Patrick; the mega-doses do get a little sketchy for kidney health, especially if you've got shit-tier skills at adding adjuvant milk thistle.
>>77295139Placebo like milk thistle doesn't work for anything, much less overdosing on something that is heavy on kidneys. But hey, keep buying, it's my lifehood.
>>77295106It will definitely boost your creatinine levels. Mine were so high that my PCP told me to get off of creatine. Besides this, there are studies coming out about its effect on brain health, noting that patients with creatinine levels in the upper limits of the normal range are significantly less likely to develop dementia and other degenerative brain diseases. But most people get creatine from standard food sources, not supplements. In your case, supplementation would be sufficient to prevent potential brain disease (except if you have a genetic predisposition to it).
>>77295132this is such obvious bullshit
>>77295145>Placebo like milk thistle doesn't work for anything, much less overdosing on something that is heavy on kidneys. No, this shit will definitely fix a light-to-moderate creatine overdose, no question. Picrel.

>>77297410Why do you say that?
>>77295145>keep buying, it's my lifehood.I bet you like to get your thistle milked
>>77297670He's trying to keep people from taking it because he's a gains goblin. /fit/ has all sorts of losers trying to sabotage others for no reason. Creatine has only positive effects and has nothing to do with hair.
It's good for muscle recovery, even if you don't lift. I admittedly don't lift as much as I should, but I have a fairly physical job and creatine helps me not feel like shit.
