>get diagnosed with ulcerative colitis>lose 25 pounds in 3 months>sleep 15 hours a day and still exhausted>walk on the treadmill for 15 minutes and do 1 set of squats before I'm too exhausted to continue>go from squatting 405 for reps in February to 225 nowfuck this gay earth
Do you have napalm shits? Bowel illnesses terrify me. Sorry you're suffering bud. What does your doctor say?
>>77302848He told me to pipe down on the bbc colonoscopies
>>77302835>matter can neither be created or destroyedI stole your gains bro. I just came back in to lifting in February and went from 175 to 325 on bench now. The Gods have blessed me. Also RIP to your gains, my respects.
>>77302848mostly bloody diarrhea while it feels like someone is squeezing my guys with a vice. haven't followed up with my gastro yet
I also got diagnosed with ulcerative colitus a year ago. Did you get vaxxed? I had to get it for work during covid and wonder if that is responsible for fucking me up. Anyway, there is nothing you can do other than get on tremfya, its the only way to be normal again.Keep your head up man. Yeah it sucks, but it could be cancer or aids or something worse.
Genuinely sorry to hear that man. : (
Time to gut barrier/biome maxxing. Seems yours already serious so trying out stuff might flare it up further. Maybe look into oral bpc-157, butyrate supplmentation, akkermansia and other prebiotic and how to keep them in your gut (soluble fiber /black seed oil/ flaxseed oil). Good luck anon.
>>77302835That sucks, sorry anon. I have pretty mild crohns and for me it was a matter of trying different treatments with the doc over a long period of time and keeping record of what I ate to see what foods fucked me up. Good luck anon.
>>77302835What broke your colon? Thing's like this don't just happen. You can probably fix this by changing your diet.
>>77302835Does smoking ganja help?
>>77302835>>77302835I got diagnosed with UC in 2024. Had symptoms for ages but as you know it comes and goes. When it first became a big issue I got investigated for bowel cancer but the colonscopy was clear. I then tried adjusting my diet bla bla. Anyway hopefully you find a medication that works for you (i tried infleximab now on ustekinimab, so far so good on the latter). Ive managed to recover ok from my flare ups so far. Hopefully you get your energy back.>>77303914I heard its common to get diagnosed quite young but often its not till your 30s that it manifests. >>77304057Can help with appetite and if you aren't feeling well then being high is nice. Smoking generally can be 'good' for UC but not recommended.
>>77302835>ulcerative colitischlorine dioxide
>>77302835>Ulcerative ColitisI know your pain. I really do bro. UC happens when your intestinal walls thin to the point where anything can penetrate through it.
>>77302835I've had UC for 9 years. Thankfully I've never had it bad at all, one BM per day with occasional a little blood and mild stomach pain. The only time I have to run to the bathroom is if I eat something with too much oil. I have only ever taken mesalazine for it.The best thing I ever did for it was to start drinking kefir and eating unpasturised probiotics like kimchi and sauerkraut. I can have a horrible shit one day, drink kefir, and the next day my shit is solid and perfect. I put it in my protein shakes.
>>77303025my symptoms started well before I got the COVID vaccine.>>77303914I've had symptoms for 15 years. This most recent flair up seems to have been caused by stress related to moving.>>77304057I work at a job that drug tests me
>Do GOMAD what could go wrong?Eat only stews, soups and porridges from now on, chicken, lamb and beef, lots of carrots and sweet potatoes. Normal potatoes are also ok. Don't eat raw or cold foods, only warm and soft, including warm water instead of cold.It will take ages to clear this up, you ruined yourself with /fit/ meme diets.
>>77305476Also use spices like thyme, oregano, basil, rosemary, ginger, cinnamon etc. but avoid hot spicy food with chilis. These are only rough guidelines and you may find that you can tolerate some "forbidden" foods while not being able to stomach some "allowed" foods, this is normal and in the end, you should go by what your stomach can manage.
>>77302835I’m sorry bro :(
