Long walks over short runs for me but my outdoor environment is not conducive to an enjoyable experience if you catch my drift. I’m considering making a substantial investment in a treadmill but which one? I need to something that will last forever.

i got some treadmill for a 100$ on fb marketplace that has different "intelligent" programs and so far has been good. even then i always end up doing both inside and outside, walk and runs. keep the body confused, keep the brain active. go on a 14 hour ketamine session at raves with gays and trannies

i take a short bike trip, leave it in the bushes and take my walk
i would even go for car ride, park it and go and come back if that was necessary
there's NOTHING better for you than paced upright walk on flat, nothing compares
>but treadmill
no, u need to propel yourself forward, treadmill is not the answer, and your leg sinks in the dumb thing and u hunch over cause it's effectively uphill, na-ah

If you're only going to use it when weather is bad then consider buying a used one or picking up a free one on marketplace then maintain it by oiling it a couple times a year. A lot of people buy treadmills and don't consistently use them including dedicated runners since they prefer running outside instead of the treadmill.

Heading outside for anything is an exercise demoralization. Oh God it’s even worse this summer

Have you ever used one? These fucking blow.

>no maintenance
>low tech, just tells you how fast you're going
>doesn't need power
>curved shape nudges proper running form

It's the closest thing to running outside there is. Of course I've used one, I hog it in my workplace's gym.
