What is the secret to big arms as a natty? I've been lifting for years and still have 14 inch dyel arms. Am I just not eating enough? (I'm 145 lbs at 5'7". Started a bulk some months ago)
>>77307197The secret is food
>>77307197thats actually really good wtf
>>77307197It doesnt matter because you'll never put in the work. If you really wanted it, you'd already be lifting and not worried about some arbitrary timeline. If someone does tell you a timeframe you find acceptable, you'll go the gym then quit in a few months when you see no progress and then go back to making "how to achieve" threads with a pic of Gooky the anime character waiting for someone to "redpill" you on how to get jacked without doing anything. loser
>>77307246I've read this same post years ago. Had no idea it was copypasta
>>77307197You're fat
>>77307197put the cuts in the churrasco lil bro
>>77307390>>77307481I'm neither fat nor very muscular. Here's my arm besides a size 8. Don't look so bad flexed, but in a natural pose my arms just look flabby and I hate it.
>>77307197>5'7why bother with working out at all lmao
>>77307611to best you in an honorable duelhave at ye
>>77307197GET YOURSELF SOME FATCEPTS,EAT YOURSELF TO 17" ARMS,TRAIN TRICEPS TWICE AS MUCH AS BICEPS,BARBELL CURL,HAMMER CURL,DRAG CURL,
>>77307618Nothing honorable about dueling disabled people.
>>77307197juice and tell people that you're natty
>>77307197Did you fall for the "accessory lifts aren't important don't work hard on them compounds are enough :^)" trick
>>77307197You're weak and short. Big arms are not for you
>>77307197As with every exercise, try everything and every angle until you find what actually works for you and then stick to that. Alternatively, do more variations in general. As a side note, for whatever reason I don't see many people do seated incline curls, although they are one of the most obvious choices and highly effective.
>>77307197>lifting for years>hasnt figured out the basic concept of whether he is a caloric surplus or deficit yetare people like you serious? how can you not be aware of whether you are eating enough or not if youve been someone who lifts for years..? how the fuck can that even be a serious question? whats your next question going to be? what muscle is trained during the bicep curl?
>>77307197The secret is preacher curls for bicep and u want to treat it like a big compound lift take it seriously track it and go to 0rir with respect to your tendons
>>77308455I just don't know if the reason I'm not growing is due to poor training or lack of food. Which is why I started bulking. To see if my diet is the issue.
>>77308450>you need muh angles to grow armsShut the fuck up
>>77308727You need to actually lift more weight in addition to gaining weight to make your arms bigger. Progressive overload.
>>77308455>>77308740Not OP but this is just basic knowledge for overall hypertrophy.I suffer from the same illness as OP: skelly arms attached to a reasonably decent torso. As for me I have dedicated arm days. Literally only biceps and triceps, plus forearms and sometimes delts. It won't do magic as OP is probably as defective as me (bad genes for arms growth), but you can mitigate the defficiency somewhat. I've seen modest improvements.
>>77308754>I have dedicated arm daysI used to work out my arms twice a week. After seeing no results I tried training them almost every time I went to the gym. Saw no difference and my left biceps tendon started feeling weird. Now I'm taking it easy again. I haven't really increased weight recently to be honest, but that's because my own performance is inconsistent. Sometimes the weights I use feel light, then on the next session I can barely lift them, and I don't know what to take from that.
What works for me best is two days of arms a week, make sure you are lifting heavy not just hypertrophy, and then going absolutely nuts to failure with like 8 dropsetsUp to you if you can keep this performance up
I haven't increased weight much lately but I do increase reps/decrease resting time on the days I'm feeling well-rested. Alright. I'm gonna try to keep better track of my numbers from now on instead of just lifting as much as I can on that day.
>>77308764If you're training/eating/resting suboptimally, the first thing to suffer is going to be your arms, because you're an arm genelet (like myself). So the general advice anons gave here is still useful: you have to optimize the general hypertrophy factors, and then have dedicated arms day, but not to the point of overtraining them (that's why your tendons felt weird).Have everything on point and go back to having a dedicated arms day while not training too many times a week. You will never grow really big arms, but you may get somewhat satisfactory results in spite of your arms geneletism.
>>77307204I think that technique is the real reason, a lot of people kind of just happen on to good habits for a particular lift.
>>77307197Dedicated arm days and food.
>>77307197Screaming at your arms like CT Fletcher.
>>77308737Post arms
