How is bench press any better than a machine chest press like this?
That machine press won’t train stabilizing muscles which allow you to use your strength outside of the gym more readily
>>77309651I agree but define stabilizing muscles and post body (you wont do either)
>>77309599More fun and looks more cooler
>>77309599>How is bench press any better than a machine chest press like this?Try them both out and see which is harder. Realize that it being harder means you are training more muscles.
>>77309657Define body and post stabilizers
>>77309657>define stabilizing musclesmuscles which stabilize. use your head foolany muscle that isn't lifting the full weight, but still participates in keeping it stablemachines stabilize the weight and move it in a fixed path for you, so these muscles are not hit
>you wont do either
>>77309688Ok tell me what those muscles are exactly
>>77309651>stabilizing musclesDo people still believe this shit?
>>77309599Imbalances and the Machine doesn't go high enough. Good accessory for different angles.
>>77309657Post your body. Don't be a woman if you won't do it then don't ask other to do it.
How much is a full stack in that machine? Does it even hit 2pl8? Feel like I'm lifting air with that thing either way, takes the whole bracing your entire bosy out of the equation. Probably only worth it of you're coming back from injury, have a womb or are expecting great grandchildren.
>>77309691Rotator Cuff Muscles (supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor, subscapularis): These vital muscles anchor and control the head of the humerus (upper arm bone) within the shoulder socket throughout the movement.Scapular Stabilizers (rhomboids, trapezius, and serratus anterior): These muscles control your shoulder blades, locking them into place against the bench to give you a stable base to push from.Core Muscles (rectus abdominis, transverse abdominis, obliques, and erector spinae): By bracing your core, you keep your torso rigid, prevent your lower back from excessively arching, and stop your body from transferring energy away from the lift.
>>77309651But barbells won't train stabilizers as much as dumbbells either
>>77309599maybe im using them wrong but i could never feel my chest while using them. I can feel my chest being used more in bench press and weighted dips.
>>77310012All wrong>>77309743The burden of proof is on you
