hi /fit/ im here just looking for some motivation to quit vaping. I have relapsed over and over and recently was able to quit for 3 months. then I hung out with a friend of mine who smokes cigarettes and decided to just have 1 cigarette and that literally sparked up my addiction to vaping again. obviously I just cant hang around people who smoke anymore. but it was my fault.

I go back to work on Monday and I told myself that I would quit this shit once and for all. i will, whether people support me or not but i'm just looking for some motivation that will help make it easier. vaping is also linked to my porn addiction so of i quit this, I can quit porn too. vaping literally makes me a worse version of myself in every way. I just dont want to exercise or do anything worthwhile while im on the vape.

so please grant me your energy /fit/izins

One thing that worked well for me was a tracker on my phone. I used SoberTime, but there's gotta be hundreds out there. It becomes a bit of a reminder of how far you've come; once you hit a week, and realise it's the longest you've gone without vaping, it's a decent morale boost.

You also need to mentally be finished with it. Make peace with the fact that you won't vape again, ever. This has been the hardest part of kicking any addiction to me, but starting on a shaky foundation just means you'll fail in a moment of weakness when the cravings crawl back.

Stay strong brother, vaping was the worst addiction I ever had and quitting has since become a source of pride in my own willpower (going on 4 years).

if you have a vape then simply throw it out while driving the next time you're out and never buy one again. if you cannot quit it cold turkey then you're subhuman, no judgement but yeah
