High cortisol is preventing you from seeing your abs. No amount of lifting, cardio or dieting will help until cortisol stops spiking.
>>
For what it's worth swimming made me see abs for the first time. I have a suspicion that it also serves as a stress hormone degrader because running didn't help.

>>77310587
>Another episode of retards and trannies trying to suppress a hormon (look up it's definition) instead of fixing the root issue
>>
>>77310587
Yeah I know that, I have stratospheric high level of cortisol and a fat gut

But I can't seem to manage to bring it back to normal levels, I guess it's the price of having a business and 3 kids
>>
>>77310598
What is the root issue, CICO?
Swimming made me the fittest I have ever been. It also burns a shitload of calories.
>>
>>77310601
Try deep breathing and walking in nature
>>
>>77310610
What a low iq individual
Nevermind just buy whatever bryan johnson prescribes to suppress cortisol
>>
>>77310611
>walking in nature
I do 1-2xweek
I go to the gym 3xweek
I'm trying to cut down on the drinking and improving the sleep

I did a blood test in november which was very bad, sky high cortisol (2x max normal range) and very low test, the blood test last month was slightly better, test back within normal range and cortisol only a bit higher than the normal range

Run your wrists over cold water for 7 seconds. Do it when you feel a stress spike.
Cold blood triggers hypothalamus to downregulate stress instantly.
Lowers cortisol.
The US Navy recently revealed this in 2023, they've been using this protocol since 2009.

Here saved the green one for you
>Triggering flight response from cold water reduces stress or cortisol
>>
>>77310836
When cold water hits your skin, thermoreceptors fire signals to the hypothalamus that instantly triggers the sympathetic nervous system, causing a surge of adrenaline, noradrenaline, and cortisol.

You can make an argument about the mammalian dive reflex activating the vagus nerve to help slow the heart and help us relax, but it should be done with cool water, not ice cold.

That man doesn't have visible abs because he is about 280lbs and is designed to collide into other men of that weight for 80 minutes
>>

>kids
Try stopping the use of this retarded word
>>
>>77310587
I haven’t been able to find a new job in three years. I’ll always be stuck in the fucking gaming QA making barely any money. Of course my cortisol is sky-high.
>>
>>77310617
>drinking

I know you said you're reducing it, but that's a bigger fish to fry than cortisol.
>>
>>77310612
Why don’t you articulate your counterpoint instead of the needless insults? I hate posters like you so much

Could rinsing your face with cold water work!
>>
>>77311072
In what world is that 280 lbs
>>
I dont need visible ads to be strong

Personally these helped
>Drastically reduce caffeine (I have 1 espresso only when needed, usually only 2 days per week)
>Better sleep (dropping caffeine helped)
>Lower THC use, no THC leading up to bed time (latest is like 7:30 PM)
>REGULAR walking, not running/jogging. Just a daily walk without my phone or electronics
>Cold at the end of my showers (not ice baths, that's gay, but cold water exposure after a warm shower seems to help my nervous sytem reset)
>>
>>77310612
It's CICO dude. Nothing else.

Afaik Ashwagandha and L-theanine are the two ingredients in his stack with clinical trial data on ack-shilly doing that somewhat.

Foids like dad bods, so it's fine.
>>
>>77312397
The "dad bods" they like are generally in the teen percentages of bodyfat with decent muscle mass; frame-mogging normies but sort of a "sleeper build" compared to stereotypical cut gymbros. 30-40% BF "dad bods" repulse a fair amount of foids and are a ticket to ACKing after a Jewish cardiologist futilely stents your arteries a few dozen times.
