Anon, the point of adding "masculinity" to the "toxic" (toxic meaning "le bad") is just to signify that the "le bad" thing is being done only because it's being perceived as something that should be done in order to conform to some masculine ideal. It doesn't mean that all masculine things are le bad or that all le bad things are masculine. It's a delineation of a specific subset of le bad things defined by a specific thing that motivates them.
You can literally use "toxic femininity" the same way.
