Is doing shrugs with the Hex bar good for traps? I've been doing deadlifts pretty much all my lifting days, never really quit, but my traps are not particularly good or swole. I obviously need to do something that targets them directly.

I spammed shrugs like a retard for a while and they popped until I started doing BB rows. They don't look like roidtranny traps but they are noticeable now even if I wear a shirt, more on the thick side. I am no anatomy expert but it seems compound lifts for the back are generally better as unlike your chest and delts, there's "layers" of muscles in your back. Your Trapezius covers the Rhomboids so by working both you are basically "working for double thickness gains"
