fasting isn't that crazy if you can largely take it easy while doing it. i did a couple 3 days while i was doing labor work and it just sucked by day 3. some people claim they have boundless energy and hit the gym as hard as ever on 14 day fasts. i've never had that on an extended fast. also make sure you supplement with electrolytes. some people swear to go without but with i will have a headache at some point into day 2 and a serving of the fasting salt brand i buy in water clears it up immediately. hunger doesn't leave until days 3-5 (ghrelin largely ceases) so expect to just deal with it on a 3 day fast. everyone is different. in my case i case i always have zero issue with hunger those three days except in the last few hours before bed (8-12pm) the cravings sometimes kick in bad. >>77315097breh you seriously need to do some more basic research before fasting. electrolytes are just minerals, there are no calories in salt. you can get them pre-mixed on amazon as just the salt form. desu i don't really advise fasting as a means to lose weight. too many people just fail 36 hours in and binge eat. if you have issues with your joints, gut, skin health etc fasting can seriously change your life.

You will have really strong hunger pangs, but if you tough it out for 10 minutes to an hour, they go away. You should lift weights to preserve muscle mass. You'll want to quit probably a dozen times or so, and you'll come up with a bunch of excuses, all of which are bullcrap, but you'll want to believe them. He hates you and wants you to stay fat. Fasting can drop you 100 lbs or more in six months, with no loose skin if you do long fasts (3 days or more). You can change your habits after that.And in the time between now and Monday try to figure out what triggers you have that make you want to eat even when you shouldn't ("Ooo, but if I don't eat this now, then it'll go bad..." Etc) and remove them. Good luck. Suffering is worth it.

I just did a 5 day fast. Drank water with fasting salts though. Ngl it sucked. Wicked headaches, couldn’t sleep, thought about food the whole time. I think the smarter way to do it is to go longer, like at least two weeks, or break it up like the snake diet doing 24s, 48s or 72s. 24s are like the perfect fast imo. You can just fast until night and then eat a smallish meal for sleep. Makes the whole thing a lot easier.
