What sport do you do alongside your lifting routine? Does it benefit your lifting, and does lifting benefit it in return?I do MTB and it really improved recovery for legs and my HR
>>77315044I box and gym rock climbHave two black eyes right now because sparring on Thursday with the big boysClimbed last night, felt goodI basically don't lift anymore, don't have the time. Trying to get a new job to cut my commute down because I want to lift and/or do sprints in the mornings before work.
>>77315044Judo, and I'm pretty active outdoors(hunting, fishing , paddling, etc). PT helps me keep me fit enough to do those things at the level I want to.
>>77315117Would you say you have a better back than when you were lifting?
Lifting + swimming
Blue collar fag who only has energy for lifting before work, but sometimes i kick a soccerball around by myself.I have thought of trying to find an adult league, which i assume works around grown mens schedules. Not sure if archery or canoeing or fishing is a sportI love hiking.
I play hockey in a beer league.

>>77315467This is the most op thing you can do if you really make the effort
bump
i referee some
>>77315044Shaolin kung fu and boulderingI originally did weightlifting, but now all lifting exercises are basically supplementary to my kung fu and climbing. Primarily to specifically improve certain techniques, so things like forearm pronation/supination with a dumbbell loaded on one end for forearm stability during climbing, wide leg squats on toes for fluidity and control during kung fu forms, Cuban press to prevent elbow tendonitis from climbing, that sort of stuff.
Swimming and olimpic gymnastics are the gold standart for me.If we go for combat sports i would chose three at most.Something between kickboxing, boxing, muaythai, wrestling, american wrestling, greco-roman wrestling, bjj and overall grappling.
>>77315044can you /fit/ on sport alone?ran into a football player in muay thai and he outdid the other beginners>>77315294>by myselfhow does that work?
>>77316237I have a bunch of soccer balls and kick them one by one or i run up and down the field. Used to have my own net that would actually bounce the ball back to me. Sometimes if i play by myself a group will come along who needs another guy.
