After roughly a year of weight loss I started to lift as well and eat at least 1.6g of protein per kg of body weight, with the goal of doing body recomp. I don't know if it's the high protein diet, the calories burned from working out or what, but I genuinely struggle to lose fat now. Even just 200kcal less than my new maintainance calories (so my sedentary maintainance calories) is hard. Did this happen to anyone else? Any advice?

Any advice? You are a newbie lifter so that means your body is building a lot of muscle. If you are recomping then what is happening is your body is burning fat to build muscle. So you are really at a much higher fat loss than the bathroom scales or calorie tracking will indicate.
