How much weight and what exercises should pregnant women gain to have a healthy babby? I heard that if they're too thin it will be premature and if they're too fat there's more problems too. Any dads have advice on their pregnancies? I heard gaining 25-35lb is good? How did you guys handle it?
>>
With our first, my wife lifted weights up until like eight months. It’s good for them and if they’re physically active, they’ll rebound better post pregnancy.
With the third however, the doc told her weights were putting too much strain on her body(the cervix I think?). So she stopped lifting. She began to have blood sugar issues as well, so she really had to watch what she ate. The good news here is that she gained the least amount of weight with the third kid, and still had the most energy across all 3 pregnancies because her blood sugar was never out of whack. She took long walks for exercise.
Women also get really horny when they’re pregnant just FYI

Can confirm. Just fucked my 7-month pregnant wife twice about 20 minutes ago.

did she get T2 diabetes? Do you think the Dr was wrong about the working out? What did she eat? I'm trying to hit all the choline DHA and other nutrients
>>77318594
How much did she weight?
>>
>>77318705
It was pre-gestational diabetes. I guess her mom had it too. She just avoided a lot of sugar and carbs. Ate a lot of Ezekiel bread. Ate a lot of salads, meats, eggs etc. it was an extremely healthy diet overall.
I don’t think the doctor was wrong about working out (in this case, weightlifting). They felt it was putting noticeable strain on her cervix(I think that’s what it was) and you obviously don’t want to take unnecessary risks. She still rebounded physically just fine after the third kid and even had less weight to lose thanks to her diet.
>>
>>77318726
Do you know what weight she was at for these births? I've become a lot less based with her health and am pretty conservative with this stuff too, how are you doing instilling working out for your kids? I plan to let them hang and do gymnastics
>>
>>77318705
>How much did she weight
For our first kid, maybe like 195 at delivery. Now, maybe like 185, about the same as me. No diabetes or health issues. She's still lifting as normal, basically, just cutting out some of the heavier compounds.

I don’t know the exact weights. She’s always weighed between 120 and 125 and probably gained somewhere between 20 and 30 pounds with each pregnancy. My only advice as far as your wife is to listen to the docs and make her life as easy as possible. Pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood is stressful enough without your husband breathing down your neck about how you look fat (ask me how I know this). Just try to make her life as easy as possible and she’ll have more time to do the stuff you want to do.

With my kids I just encourage them to be active, play outside etc. Our neighborhood actually has a lot of active kids who like to play outside so this isn’t that hard.

>ask me how I know this
How u know?
>>
>>77318762
>My only advice as far as your wife is to listen to the docs
Within reason this is good advice. My wife was vegan during our first pregnancy and the baby was growing slowly. The doctor asked if she was vegetarian and clearly wanted to blame the baby's small size on her lack of protein intake, but didn't say anything beyond asking that question. We chose on our own for her to start eating meat and for me to stop (to offset consumer demand for meat). The doctor later said this was a good decision and the boy started to catch up, growth-wise.
All this to say, doctors are human and sometimes won't give you the advice you need for human reasons. Be sure to think for yourself in addition to hearing them out.

Can anything be done to prevent tit annihilation? My ex had the sweetest perkiest lil b cup titties which then swelled up amazingly throughout pregnancy.
They were so deliciously fat and juicy at 6 months I wouldn't leave her alone.
Post pregnancy though, obliterated. She gave up on breast feeding and then refused to pump. After the milk production stopped and she lost the baby weight they just lost all their volume and now they're flappers.
Just totally fucked them. I guess it could just be genetic but I can't help think if she'd been more proactive and consistent with breast feeding and pumping they'd have ended up better off. Maybe not.
It's such a shame though and despite every reassurance it was brutal on her self-esteem. Why can't they just swell up and then just stay that way? Everyone would be happy. Daddy happy, baby happy, mummy happy. Nature is a cruel bitch.
>>
>>77318816
I know not every woman is into this idea but surgery is pretty common nowadays
>>
>>77318816
Your ex?
>>
>>77318828

I expect that's what she will do at some point. I hope for her sake she spends good money and gets a good surgeon not that I'll have the benefit of them.

>>77318838

Long story short, we were not a good fit. We got together and things moved quickly, partly because we're both getting older and partly because she was on a mission to move things along.
The rigours of parenthood demolished an already strained relationship in about 10 months.
Friends would ask how being a dad is and I'd tell them honestly that looking after my newborn son was definitely hard but dealing with her was much harder. I'm not blameless though I could have been better.
Now I'm spending every penny I have in family court to get shared custody of my little boy and I haven't seen him in 5 months because she made vague accusations of domestic abuse.
Anyway...
>>
>>77318828
NTA, but my wife has warmed up to the idea. Her tits have gotten pretty droopy after just the first and we want 3 more.
>>
>>77318594
Nice.
>>
>>77318891
My wife has small tits and 3 pregnancies hasn’t affected them much. She’s not the type to get any work done and I’m fine with it.

That being said if she said “I think I want a boob job” I’d be shoving her in the car and driving us down to the surgeon before she could change her mind.
>>
>>77318462
Women shouldn't be doing any lifts when pregnant. Risk of fainting or miscarriage.
>>
>>77318816
>Post pregnancy though, obliterated. She gave up on breast feeding and then refused to pump.
Found your problem. Years of consecutive breeding and breastfeeding has left my wife with giant, plump breasts.

Also, your poor kids should not be fed on fucking formula.
>>
What supplements could women take to get multiples (twins, triplets) ass well as get massive breasts?
>>
>>77319112
I read the wikipedia about twins and I dont remember a damn thing.
>>
>>77319112
For massive breasts, they should breastfeed on baby demand to increase milk supply (which increases breast size, both because the breasts fill up with milk, and because the hormones cause the breasts to grow). Gotta cowmax your wife. The more she is milked, the more milk she produces.
>>
>>77318462
My wife gained 40 lbs with twins. She started off at 5’3” @120 lbs. Banged until the eights month
>>
>>77319151
*eighth. Also, we both ate lots of fast food the last month and my kids turned out fine. She was on nausea meds throughout most of the pregnancy. Do whatever she needs, whether it’s changing her socks it trimming her pubes. She’s carrying your kids and it’s hard as hell on her; especially towards the end. Also, watch the birth and don’t be a pussy. Just be careful cutting the cord. That thing is tough and I almost stabbed my son in the stomach as the scissors kind of slipped

>>
>>77319428

She struggled to get a good latch and refused to work at it. She was in pain for sure, but there were solutions presented by the breast feeding specialist nurse, which all worked really well, but she still gave up.
It was just her nature I guess. She had the idea in her head that maybe if she stopped, they'd stop producing milk and her breasts would go back to normal. She chose that over nourishing our child.
It made me really mad at the time, certainly part of why we're no longer together.
I'd have gone to great lengths to make breastfeeding work.
So yeah, anyway, her tits totally deflated and now look like a pair of old socks nailed to an ironing board and didn't even use them for what they're made for.
She's a great mum in other respects but a nutty cunt in many others.
>>
>>77322992
I heard it varies from person to person based on genetics and diet. My wife has the sweetest tasting milk. It is very tasty and also gives me a raging erection.
>>
>>77323084
>She struggled to get a good latch and refused to work at it.
This sometimes means there is an issue with the baby. Sometimes they have a tongue or lip tie which can be fixed in a few minutes by a surgeon if the problem is detected.
>>
>>77323084
Breastfeeding can slow her recovery so that may have been a factor depending on how rekt she was down there. Did your kid at least get a little bit in the first few weeks?
>>
>>77318462
Basically, she'll only need an additional 300-500 cal a day and she can work continue working out until she's close to delivering. I was still hiking until I was about 7-8 months pregnant. I was still able to walk for 30 minutes up until I delivered though.

In my experience, breastfeeding was where I gained weight. Again, you only need to intake an extra 300-500 cal but I felt like I was starving all the time so I was a dumbass and over ate.
>>
Wife had 2 and avoided becoming a flesh golem. She walked a shitton with the first, like many miles per day. With the second she did a lot of follow-along HIIT cardio and kettlebells all the way up to a couple of weeks before birth. She isn't exactly a fitness freak either. She was more active pregnant than she is not pregnant.
The "eating for two" thing is complete horse shit made up by fat gluttons who don't believe they should have to exercise any self-discipline when going through adversity. The last 3-4 weeks will kick cravings into high gear though. She can go from doing well to needing intervention due to high blood pressure very quickly towards the end because they want to gobble Dominoes and Popeyes nonstop.
>>
>>77323259

He was checked over and was totally normal, it was all a technique and persistence issue. She just needed to learn how to get him into a favourable position consistently but she was very stubborn about the whole process. I don't know for sure what was going on, maybe just her post partum issues, but there was some deep seated reason why she was reluctant to perform her duties.

>>77323266

Thankfully, she had the foresight to freeze a fuckload of colostrum that she produced pre-natal for a few weeks. So for the first couple of months (iirc) he was getting good amounts of colostrum in addition to some breast milk (pumped or breastfed before she quit) and then high quality goats milk formula from then on.
He's surpassed and exceeded all developmental goals so far. He was physically active extremely early and verbally very advanced. He actually kicked himself off his changing station and fell a foot onto the carpet at 8 weeks. We got him checked over by a doctor, he was fine, but then we had to go and meet with child services because 8 weeks old is classed as immobile; he's not supposed to be able to kick himself off anywhere. They assumed one of us had thrown him on the floor.
The second we put him down on their changing table, while 5 child services staff watched, he started wriggling and kicking and pushing himself off the table. They were surprised to say the least, but instantly understood we weren't making shit up. Not much fun being basically accused of child abuse but hey ho.

I'd like to have kids with another woman some day. I'm gonna get a written contract mandated breastfeeding with sessions for dad too.

The recommended weight gain for a pregnant woman is between 8 and 12kg. Near 8 if overweight, near 12 if very thin. Ideally 9-10kg.
Women shoudl continue exercising, free weights, swimming, etc. They should stop running, jumping and shit like that. They should also reduce a bit their weights if free weight training after the 28th/30th week due to equilibrium reasons.
They should also have plenty of sex, because it keeps the vagina extended and helps with birth.
Also, very important, keep oiling the skin. This will help with the skin stretching and with the rebound after borth. Keep oiling for the fiorst two weeks after birth. every single day, one to two times, the belly, the chest, the hips.

>>77318594
My woman went absolutely insane. We were doing two hour long sessions one week before she gave birth. after birth we weren't allowed to have vaginal sex so the vagina could recover, so five days after the deal she was riding me anally, the recovery was stellar anyway.

>>77318816
The trick is to return to the original weight slowly, so as not to shock the body.
Breastfeeding or not is not a deciding factor in breast recovery. The breasts will always lose a bit of perkiness due to extra skin tissue gained during pregnancy and breastfeeding and you can't escape that fact. The rest is upt to genetics and how well you treated them during pregnancy (by oiling them).
Disregarding breast issues, always breastfeed, ALWAYS.

>>77319112
Twins are mainly genetics (from the woman). I know a guy that has twins, he himself is a twin and one fo his parents is a twin as well.

>>77321796
No correlation.
>>
>>77323536
>I'm gonna get a written contract mandated breastfeeding with sessions for dad too.

All my boys did not nurse well. My wife tried everything and could not make it work. We switched to formula to avoid her going insane. All 3 kids are smart and healthy. Obviously they should try nursing first though.

>I guess it could just be genetic but I can't help think if she'd been more proactive and consistent with breast feeding and pumping they'd have ended up better off. Maybe not.
Speaking from experience, continued breastfeeding/pumping wouldn't have helped her tits any. The reality is, the act producing the milk and the hormonal shifts that occur just result in the skin stretching thus cause the sag. Age is a factor too, obviously. I'm sure if she kept active/worked out than the sag would be a lot less noticeable. I know, while not perfect, working out my chest has definitely helped with making my chest not look like a tubesock filled with pennies.

>>77323650
This is the right mind set. There is this weird stigma about formula, but at the end of the day you need to make sure your babies are fed and healthy. I also tell people to try breastfeeding, because there are benefits, but if you can't you can't.

I know for some the concern is obesity in later life, but I feel like that's easily mitigated by making sure they eat healthy once they're on solids. Keep them active - have them try different sports and physical activities until they find their thing, read to them nightly, and don't let them rot away in front of a screen. I find all that more critical than breastfed vs formula.
>>
>>77323716
My wife was getting really distraught over her nursing difficulties and a nurse told her “look, if it makes you feel better, my breast-fed child is autistic and my formula fed one is not and is at the top of her class. You can’t read too much into it one way or the other.” That helped her mindset a lot.
