I fucking hate faggots who say shit like “This is the optimal [insert whatever]”, especially cuz it’s some faggot who started lifting 3 months ago.

Who gives a fuck about optimal? You’re doing this for the rest of your life. It doesn’t matter if it takes you 3 months to bench 2Pl8 or 16 months. Literally just fucking do something and tweak it. Unless you’re actually competing, there is no end goal.

Also, if you’re natty and stay serious, you basically stop progressing damn near completely after like 3 years (give or take). Then “optimizing” might let you squeeze out another 3% in any given area (but you will likely regress in a different era). Anyone who says the word “optimal,” I know they’re a newfag I should ignore.

If you have ever lifted for 6 months straight and seen effectively zero difference at the end, you know what I’m talking about.
