would you recommend green smoothies? i kinda wanna try them but the apparently the taste is bad are they good? what veggies do you use, i heard kale shakes are the best
>>77322877Eating greens is good for you so yes a green smoothie will be good for you if you aren't already eating those greens in some other form. Not the tastiest way to consume your greens but if you get used to the flavor you'll start to look forward to it, just experiment with the recipes you find online to figure out what you like. And yes Kale is good.
Just drink a nice tall glass of oxalates lmao
I would recommend no greens, but especially not raw ones. If you're eating green slop (the least intuitive food in the world) you have to at least cook it.No reason to not just eat fruit. They have this thing called a "fruit smoothie" that tastes amazing, is cheaper, is better for you, is more intuitive, stresses you less (stress kills you)OK op ask me this, you're walking and you see this, what is healthier>A red fruit on a tree that your body tells you to eat>A green leaf on the ground>A green leaf on a bush>A red fruit on the ground>Some rocks and sticks>Some paintJust intuitively which of these seem like healthy foods? Don't answer with "science" or whatever, just describe to me why the rock is not healthier than the fruit, intuitively speaking.
>>77322877These are great if you enjoy the stabbing red hot pain of kidney stones
>>77323170Feel free to provide literally any clinical research that shows a person who got kidney stones demonstrably from over consumption of greens. I'll wait.
>>77323170>>77323165>>77323140ketofags>>77322877add lemon or other citrus + a sweet fruit and it tastes good, can mix it with protein powder (goes best with banana)
>>77323199>Get called a ketofag for telling people to eat fruits
>>77323165Can you please provide what your definition of intuition is so I can properly answer your question.
>>77323205No, use your intuition to figure out what it is.
>>77323170....drink water?
>>77323207Okay, I don't care enough to continue this stupid conversation.
>>77323211Strange that fruits would hydrate you but when you eat a green leaf you need to drink extra water to counteract bad side effects.>>77323215>I cannot use my intuition to thinkWe know.
>>77323216Keep responding with attempted witty one-ups. I'm sure somebody will take your bait, And you'll get the validation you so desperately crave.
>>77322877Enjoy your kidney stones
>>77323221>Attempted one-upsPlanttards do this every time, the most ridiculous projection every single post. It's always seething projection into nothing.>I cannot use my intuitionWe know.
>>77323140kale has almost no oxalates whatsoever. ~2-5 mg/cup compared to spinach's 1500. this is why no one takes you retards who fell for the "vegetables are le bad" meme seriously lol. stop using health influencers to explain the world to you pls>>77322877they're great, my normal recipe is>fill my personal blender up with kale (removing large stems), winds up being about 50g>add 2/3 cup (~180 mL) OJ>blend>add 1 banana, frozen pineapple chunks, other frozen fruit (peaches, mango are good)>optionally, add half scoop or full scoop of vanilla whey>blend>if not liquid enough, add some more OJ or water and blend some more
>>77323203>You should meat, fish, roots, tubers, fruits, grains, sugar, honey and dairy, but greens only as a tiny percentage>K-KETOLARD!
>>77323165Intuitive? Are you really judging the health of food by how obviously edible it is? Our first ancestors to eat apples weren't eating anything like the apples we have today. Everything grown today has gone through extensive artificial selection to produce fruits and vegetables that look the most appealing. You probably wouldn't call anything our ancestors actually ate "intuitive"
>>77323257>roots>tubers>grains>titty milk from other animalsumm that's not very of you intuitive of you anon
>>77323262I'm a lifelong forager and I WOULD call many wild foods intuitive, you fags always do this apple shit like delusional retards.Rose hips are intuitive. Crab apples are intuitive even. Wild apples also were. And none of you fags ever mention berries, literally the most intuitive food in the world even moreso than fresh meat. I've eaten many of these wild foods and I know which ones are intuitive, people say this shit but have NEVER EVER actually foraged.>VegetablesYes a lot of these aren't intuitive, I don't eat them.>>77323271>RootsWild roots / tubers are sugary food stores from plants, extremely intuitive when cooked. Some of them (like the fairy potato) are even sweeter than normal potatoes. Camas bulbs are like sweet potatoes. Sweet potatoes are naturally sweet even wild. >GrainsIntuitive during famines, which is what grains were, famine food. During a famine you would intuitively eat seeds, dirt, tree bark, literally anything to fill your stomach if you were starving>Titty milk from other animalsExtremely intuitive. You drank boob milk from your mother, why not get the milk from that goat? This is just common sense, females make milk and babies. So here's the problem, people who are against this stuff are just retarded, they never hunt or fish or forage but will say that wild fruits are unintuitive.
>>77323278>grains and literal fucking dirt are intuitive if you really think about it bro>so are these fucking roots i pulled out of the ground>but not the vibrant green vegetables attached to them that are the original source of all protein and tons of antioxidants because JennyEatDirtYT told me sostooppp bro lol
>>77323296See this is once again the thing liberals do where they pretend not to understand.
>>77323298enjoy your self-professed famine food while i drink a highly nutritious green smoothie >>77323247 brah, we'll see who comes out on top ig
>>77323298>>77323302Planttards can NEVER EVER actually make a real argument. It's just the same thing every time. They deliberately misunderstand, ask for a clarification, when it's clarified they misunderstand that. Same formula forever.
would be hysterical to see what you all look like
>>77323306show body or gtfo
>>77323306Something like these people probably https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KrD7WywCGU
>>77323313good example of what happens when you fall for a meme diet and don't eat a varied diet consisting of fruits, meats, animal products, and vegetables;)
>>77323323>Meme dietLike eating green leafs off the ground because some guy with a funny hat on told you that they were healthy.Don't eat the tubers that are stores of nutrients for the plants, don't eat the meat that is the flesh you're made of, don't eat the berries that intuitively look delicious that the plant made to disperse seed through consumption, find this green leaf from the ground that's bitter and eat it. The more green and bitter and disgusting the better, those bitter compounds are healthy. A guy in a hat said so.
>>77323331>>77323323Usually to find out what's healthy I just do what I don't like. I eat a green leaf, I stay up late and never sleep on a schedule to feel like shit in the morning, I take ice cold showers, I stress myself out as much as possible studying inane useless topics that require a lot of concentration but are entirely trivial, I run to the point where it's uncomfortable and then lift so hard I want to kys myself, this means it's healthy.>Fruit and meatGTFO with your unintuitive shit
>>77323278>I'm a lifelong forager and I WOULD call many wild foods intuitive, you fags always do this apple shit like delusional retards.Rose hips are intuitive. Crab apples are intuitive even. Wild apples also were. And none of you fags ever mention berries, literally the most intuitive food in the world even moreso than fresh meat. I've eaten many of these wild foods and I know which ones are intuitive, people say this shit but have NEVER EVER actually foraged. If intuition was all it took then no one would have ever died from eating toxic berries, mushrooms, etc. You're delusional if you think our ancestors didn't study (through trial and error) everything edible they could find so they could teach their children not to eat everything that looks "intuitive"No one was born knowing what should be eaten and what shouldn't. The guy in the next hut over would die from eating some berries and the village would LEARN not to eat those.>Intuitive during famines, which is what grains were, famine food. During a famine you would intuitively eat seeds, dirt, tree bark, literally anything to fill your stomach if you were starvingPerfect example. No one intuited this. When you're actually starving, you will TRY to eat anything. So many of our ancestors died figuring out what could be eaten as a last resort and that information was passed down by the survivors to the next generation. Which is how all information was shared.
>>77323365>If intuition was all it took nobody would ever die from eating thisHow often does this happen and how many of these people are using their intuition? Give me some numbers hereThis is a complete strawman anyway because I never told anyone to always use your intuition to just start eating random shit, I said to NOT eat shit if it's just intuitively toxic. This is an inversion of what I said, complete strawman from another planttard.>Teach their kid not to eat everything that looks "intuitive"Hold on let me look at modern populations raised on disney movies to determine what someone's natural instincts tell them to do>No one intuited this>They just naturally ate it during famine because their bodies told them to?????
>>77323386>How often does this happen and how many of these people are using their intuition? Give me some numbers hereHe's referring to pre-ancient humans, you fucking moron.
>>77322877Green smoothies are good but will fuck your stomach up if you aren't used to all of the raw produce yet. A shit load of spinach, apple or orange juice, and then some bananas or frozen fruits to round it out is usually what I see people do. I prefer to get my vegetables via meals and got bored of smoothies quickly but I can see how someone else would fit it regularly into their diet
THEY ARE A SCAM AND FULL OF OXALATES THAT WILL GIVE YOU KIDNEY STONES
>>77323386Oh you're just retarded, carry on
>>77323165Intuitively ur fucking retarded
>>77323548>>77323545>>77323548this but for you>Scientists said to do all the things I hate >That means it's working!
>Meat and fruit AHHHH ICKY YUCK YUCK!>Green! Mmmmm green my mouth is watering it's so green>What if we blended up the green haha blend that up mmmmm green>Maybe mix in some other things though It tastes GREAT! but uhhhh, could we mix in some sweet sugary fruits and lemon juice hahaha not that I don't like it I just want to mix in the fruits with itMmmmmm yum yum yum I love eating things that I have to read the ars goetica vegan forums to find out how to eat without them tasting like shit. I just naturally do it, if it uhhh I mean I LOVE them I've always loved them I just mix them with fruit and lemon juice because it tastes betterAnd besides what even is intuitive anyway nobody knows, just like nobody really knows who is black or white it's all just a social construct.
>>77323595this is the guy who complains about strawmanning btw
>>77323598mmmmmmm green YUM I would NEVER EVER eat it on its own but I just love it so much actually I just mix in the fruit and lemon because it's more better mmmm yum green things that I have to add a vinegarette in and cook and soak in water and only pick when they're young and tender and not exposed to light, not that I don't like them it's just my preference haha. What even is intuition though nobody really knows. Nobody can really tell, I mean, I give this post a pass.
>>77323165Imagine intuitively hunting for delicious mushrooms rofl (do it)
>>77323664>Intuitively eating a mushroomLiterally nobody would ever do this they're wet and icky and don't look tasty.
>>77323595Everything is a social construct because it's this weird thing called permanent symbols which is also called by some on rare occasions whispered only in the 31st masonic black lodge underneath the antarctic d.u.m.b: Language. Some social constructs are better constructed then others: A: Bible, shit tier
whatever you think is best for you (youre fat and will eat anything regardless)
Spinach is low flavor impact and good nutrients Kale is good nutrients but high flavor / texture impactRiced cauliflower is good so you can get glucosinolates and other good nutrients but it isn't green.Edamame is the secret tech. 1/3 cup. If theyre frozen it improves texture of the smoothie and u can notice it in the taste but it gives you tons of bean nutrients.Stay away from the peppery greens like watercress and arugula IMO Mix with banana or OJ is good for flavor. I just use my vanilla flavored whey and blend it with a cup of kale and a cup of spinach it taste like ass but the vanilla sweetener flavor covers up the grass flavor.
>>77322877Not my thing, i only really make smoothies to make protein powder more palpable and add some other things for micros like cocoa or hazelnut butter, but that leans more into sweetness. Greens are fine as is.
>>77323165What is this dude talking about lmao
>>77325140Human evolution, very basic stuff>Humans evolve to eat plants that taste bad and look ugly>If it's disgusting looking and tastes bad that means you're supposed to eat it>If an activity makes you feel like shit and you hate doing it that means you're supposed to do it to feel healthyIt's that simple, we must of just evolved to.... do things we hate all the time constantly, and eat foods we hate, we shrimply evolved to find these green bitter things disgusting but they're Good! for us because uhhhh, a man in a funny hat said so.I would NEVER EVER eat one of them just off the ground just like that I would always blend it up with some fruit, maybe a little vinaigrette, maybe put some creamy mayo sauce (cream sauce to imitate cream) on it, but EWWW ICKY YUCK green things are actually just intuitively healthy for you it makes 100% sense, that's when people are walking they bend down like chickens and peck at the grass because it's just so intuitively flavorful and juicy..Our bodies simply evolved to tell us that everything healthy is bad and wrong and painful and tastes gross, that's why I spend my life doing things I hate because it all makes intuitive sense.
>>77325177now rewrite your bullshit but about raw meat, you complete village-idiot-tier retard.
>>77325233Ok>When children are presented with raw meat they just instinctively try to eat it, plenty of videos of little negroid children grabbing the raw liver mommy put in front of them>Steak tartare served at every restaurant with a qualified chef who can be "safe" with it>Sushi considered luxury food>Steak cooked to pink inside because people love their juicy raw meat>Boomers all order their hamburgers rare at restaurants for better flavor>Meat is more juicy, more appealing, nobody likes well-done dry meat and they have to slather it in spices and shit to even make it edibleWa-la.>NOOOOO AHHHHH SASHIMI AND STEAK TARTARE AND A RARE STEAK AIEEEEESaid nobody ever.
>>77325177Evolution selects for reproductive success, not long term health outcomes, and modern supernormal stimuli is too recent to consider in terms of evolution. By all means, eat junk food because it's yummy and refuse cancer surgery because it hurts.
>>77325177>must ofOpinion discarded
>>77325650Must of been that I'd hit the wrong key somewhere.>>77325639>If I just make a strawman I win I know I do this too and can also destroy the strawman I also made.
>>77325663An analogy based on the same underlying principle is not a strawman. The examples provided prove the preferences we developed through evolution are a crude, flawed mechanism that isn't to be entirely relied upon in the modern environment as that isn't optimal for long term health outcomes.
>>77327356>The same principles are you saying that all medicine is bad and unnatural junk food is goodI never stated anything like this though. Every single time anything like this is brought up it's this same strawman.
>>77322877Put a banana in there and you won't taste anything else
>>77327364You hypothesize that greens are universally harmful because some of them produce aversive stimuli. The same principle would imply that many painful medical procedures are also harmful simply because they are unpleasant, even though they are beneficial. Likewise, many highly pleasurable junk foods are unhealthy despite producing positive sensations. This is refutation by counterexample, not a strawman. It shows that aversive or pleasant stimulus alone is not a reliable indicator of whether something is beneficial or harmful, which refutes the claim greens are harmful because they produce aversive stimuli. Work on your logic, this is highschool level stuff.
>>77327377>Refutation by counterexampleWhen did I claim any of this? it's a retarded strawman once again.>Argue with my strawman! No. Everyone immediately knows it's fake and gay and a strawman.
>>77327386>>77327377Also I am entirely aware that this is the kind of bad-faith "logic" they teach you in school where you never actually try to think what the other person is saying and then make up a strawman, yes, I know.>Let me just make up what I think you think in my head>And then you have to argue with itNah actually post what I think and I might tell you something. Hebrew "logic" where you just make up whatever the other person thinks and pretend you made an argument.
