How do you even eat enough protein on a caloric deficit?I'm already fairly light but I'm trying to slim down so I can be more twinky like I used to be. Yes, I know, I should bulk up and lift weights and be an alpha chad, but I don't care about building muscle.I eat about 1000 calories a day right now, and I eat healthy - rice, eggs, chicken, fish, beef, and fruits and vegetables, all while intermittent fasting for around 20 hours a day. My weight's going down but I don't want to lose the little muscle I have. I want my body to use fat as fuel rather than muscle, so I need protein.I don't really know what else I can eat within my current caloric budget to actually hit the maybe 60-80g of protein that I need to avoid being skinny-fat, other than just shovelling in a few 200+ calorie protein bars per day and being hungry all the time. Any food recommendations? Low-calorie but high protein. Eating more than a few hundred grams of chicken would make me feel bored and full.
