Are people just adding "high protein" do random dishes ?
>>77325586why are all my hobbies getting ruined? Kill me Pete
>>77325586>broccoli>3 grams of protein a mealYeah vegan bros that is a high protein meal, surely you will get jacked eating 3 grams of protein
They need to add it to the title so that emaciated pencil neck vegans will watch it in desperation before they die from sarcopenia
I checked that video that was posted over 2 years ago, and they make broccoli pasta (regular pasta with eggs, brocvoli added) and a bechamel sauce with cottage cheese. Sorry to break delulus.
>>77325586>peopleYou spent almost a decade in school and every time you tried to cheat on an exam or assignment, your teacher would get angry and punish you. Meanwhile IRL everyone else is trying to cheat and fuck you over and you can't do a goddamn thing about it.
>>77325586Congrats, you discovered marketing.
>>77325700>you discovered marketingyou discovered lyingfixed that for you
>"high protein" >they just took a normal dish and took away 50% of the carbs and fats out of it
>>77325586Yes. "High protein" is the current fad in nutrition
It's a mega $$$$ trend because it allows them to tout the amount of protein and create an association with fitness despite it being an unhealthy snack food and the general non/fit/ customer (the average dudebro who thinks he's swole because he curls his 10kg dumbell and women who wish they went to the gym regularly) feel reassured about eating a 3 hi protein snickers because they can convince themselves it will help them get ripped/it will help them exercise and lose weightI myself personally actually extremely useful as a twink. I struggle to hit the protein I need for my boxing training normally because I eat like a 1950s housewife (i.e a small amount of odds and ends only when I have the time) and even if I could force myself to bulk by eating way beyond my appetite I don't want to get any bigger. Partially because I want to stay a lanky 5'6 flyweight and partially because my body goal has always been to become a sportier kind of twink: still twink sized but with small well defined muscles and a tighter stronger body. Not some femboy but youthful masculinity supple and willowy like the ancient greeks. An eromenos to my bodybuilder bf's Erestes So I eat a bunch of porridge oats breakfast and supper then snack on some small protein bar during my lunch break and that basically gives me all the protein I need for my 30-60 minutes of training after work (plus all the lifting and carrying etc.in my physically active job) every day except when I'm able to go to the boxing gym on a day off work bearing in mind I want hypotrohpy not hypertrophy: small muscles harder than banded iron.
>>77326171Yup and it's cranking up the prices of whey
>>77325730I stand corrected.
>>77325683Tony mogs this pussy
>>77325586>Are people just adding "high protein" do random dishes ?Yup. Normies will *eventually* realize essential nutrients are NOT the pathway to unlocking ultimate gainz, and start trending all the deranged China bioactive foods instead.
>>77326407wtf is this? it says 100% meat based protein bowls (wouldn't that be any kind of meat in a bowl?) then the image is a bowl with a few mushrooms, cauliflower and broccoli plus a giant bed of buckweat or something similar that only a chinky peasant for a soviet gulag inmate would eat.

>>77326395>implying they're adding whey to le "hi protein" memeproducts and not just amino spiking with cheap, incomplete vegetable "proteins"Congratulations, you fell for the goy line as to why everything is getting more expensive.
>>77325586Yes, it's just a repeat of that phase where people thought replacing sugar with fat would somehow magically cause weight loss, except this time instead of fat, they are replacing sugar with protein.
>>77326134I mean, that is a perfectly valid way to improve your diet and physique.
>>77326854I often check the ingredients on high protein slop, most often it's milk protein, not whey directly, but the raw material is the same and drives up demand for milk farms
