Are pendlay rows better than barbell rows? Which one should I do on the back day
lol surely this will get more engagement than>is flat or db bench better?
>>77325974 Barbell Landmine Rows
If you have to ask then no they arent
>>77325974Power rows are unironically cool if you control them and do them more as a controlled short reps squeeze thing where you hold it for a brief moment on the top than full swing from the ground
>>77326007They count as cardio if you do them with a moderate weight and do tens of reps with pauses on floor when you need to.
>>77325974I prefer barbell rows, Also her form is shit and she will visit snap city at one point
>>77326081>her>she
>>77326081Cope, she outbenches 95% of people here judging by the amount of sub-3pl benchers in bench threads
>>77326132Is the knee angle based on preference or leg length?
>>77326144You mean the heels-up benching style? It's a preference and allowed in some powerlifting federations, lets you push with quads
>>77326152Yes and I would think you get more stability if the whole foot is pressed to floor (I know what leg drive is in bench) but I guess you get to leverage more when the knee is flexed ig.
>>77326161In addition to pushing with quads it lets you to arch better, shortening ROMHeavy powerlifters with bad mobility/back arch typically put heels on the ground and push through heels. This allows for better stability as you said plus the initial explosive push from chest is stronger when pushing through heels. For women and fit people with good mobility it's always better to keep heels up. Powerlifting shoes also help a lot with stability.
>>77325974I like them but 99% of pendlay rowers just deadlift that shit, then chest fuck the bar back down to the ground and pretend it was a row. I prefer seal rows but it's impossible to find a gym with a seal row station. I refuse to be the goblin that steals a bench and all the boxes to do them.
My barbell row (60kg) is higher than my bench (50kg) and I don't know if that is bad or not or why

SEAL ROWS BEST ROWS
>>77325974Is her name Helga or Gertrude?
>>77326222Thanos
>>77326195Interesting, thx.
>>77326206cant have a big bench without a big back
>>77325974Pendlay rows are better because you can enter your numbers on them on symmetricstrength.
>>77325974Aren't you supposed to keep your torso parallel to the floor through the whole rep, and touch the bar to your chest?
>>77326280why do the weak always think they know more than the strong?
>>77326280You don't get any good boy points for doing the perfect form. Only weakness from lifting lessRisk always equals rewards
>>77326301>>77326306I'm not saying it's ineffective to do it like this, but it seems like it defeats the purpose and you may as well just do normal rows.
>>77325974>>77326132is that a biological female? if so, i'm mirin' HARD.
>>77326329Kasey Croy and yes
Forgot the liftshttps://www.openpowerlifting.org/u/kaseycroy
>>77326280There will be some give to your back angle if you do real weight, but the bar should touch your chest each rep. Not touching is just a failed rep. And the OP isn't pendlay by any means, it's deadlift rows.
>>77326132that's decline bench
>>77326301Because the person who invented the movement glen pendlay who was an elite level Olympic lifting coach said it should be done that way.He single handedly put america back on the map in Olympic weightlifting and you should fuck off.
>>77325974No, not really. Pendlay rows are a deadlift accessory primarily
>>77326280Who the fuck can maintain that position for even one rep, I just tried it and couldn't keep my back like that
>>77326444You rest your abs on your quads and use lower weight.
>>77326603>and use lower weightnever
It's seated rows for me.t. Snap City slicker
>>77325974Those are rows? Those are just doing aggressive deadlifts and then sort of leaning over the bar because you can't hold the weight or actually use any muscles in your back.
>>77326007That's a fast track to snap city. Either control it and hold at the top or do it like "she"s doing and let it drop on the floor. Don't bungee jump on your muscles and tendons they will tear.
>>77326329>biological femaleAs opposed to what kind of female?
>>77325974Terrible form from that fat tranny
>>77325974Why is this lifting like that? She's going to injure herself
>>77326709She outlifts you bro
>>77326640You have no clue what you're talking about and dont lift
>>77326711She's also on test and balding
>dat harline>>77325974I tried them once I reached my max babrbell row lifting. It's a joke, just jump on the row machine with proper form and you'll get it.
>>77326329mirin that steroid balding brah
>>77326741I tore both long heads of the triceps at the scapula doing that exact thing he's describing. Like a pec tear on the back.
>>77326852https://youtube.com/shorts/genYWyOJmLE?si=nspJPgVdfQZ7Yo1JYou tore shit doing this??? Lifting isnt for you. Do shaolin kungfu or something i dont know. Or stop being 40
>>77326866No. Those are "reasonably strict" as Sam says in the video. A power row I'd call what the hog in the OP is doing, touching your torso by any means necessary.
>>77327157OP is doing a pendlay. You dont touch your chest in other variants. Not my problem or the lifts problem you're an autist who does things by the letter
>>77326866based
>>77326336>no pissthrow it into the trash
>>77326132benching her bodyweight is pretty impressive, i'll give her that.
>>77326614Kek, fair enough.
>>77325974I love fat powerlifting women, the whole concept is so funny to me.
is the strength attainable for a man half her weight really worth looking like that?
imagine the chads she will birth
