It's STILL recommended you try to control your blood sugar with diet and exercise because there are side effects and just in general taking less medications is better. Less chances for things to go wrong, less drug-drug interactions, and so on. Sure, you can never remove all risk, but why take a medication you don't need to? Ozempic is a great tool, but, as someone who is within 20 lbs of their fat loss goal, why not just go on ozempic is a dumb statement. I don't need to.
