Can they actually break the doorframe?
>>
Yes they can. These things suck.

Get a proper pull-up bar instead bonus is it can double as a squat rack.
>>
In the Netherlands here pretty sturdy wooden frames. My brother in law weighs 106kg or about 230lb and has regularly used mine. No problem so far. My bar is rated up to 140kg. You should be ok with most of these

Yes. I use one that you mount to the door jambs, though. If you don't expand it too much, it _probably_ won't cause any damage.
>>
There's no trees where you live?
>>

If you live in america. Real countries don’t have this problem

Why not just get the type that screws into the studs on either side of the door?
>>

People here are poor and rent. Highest % of blue collars of any board
>>
>>77328891
Lol I could break both of these so easily unless you screwed it into the 2x4 or have some kind of ship yard screw.

Maybe not this one
>>
>>77330886
What's wrong with it? I was looking for something similar.
>>
>>77328891
I broke a leg doing those
>>
>>77328891
Fatties can't use them, so they should be fine.
>>
>>77328891
The bar I have has a bar is wide enough to press against the outside of the frame, kind of a counterbalance to keep the weight off of the top of the frame.
>>

The bars are fine. Been using them for years while always being over 200lbs

It's your doorframes id worry about, if you're living in a rundown house with rotting wood doorframes obviously there will be issues. But if your house is fine you'll have no problem. Will definitely leave marks on the doorframe though, maybe strip some of the paint off

If big dogs like these can use them, they good

>>77331736
Anyone big enough to break a doorframe, like 300lbs, won't be able to do pull ups anyway so even that is nothing to worry about
