I was on it back in college for headaches and I literally couldn't hold a thought in my head long enough to write it down. I couldn't take notes. I nearly failed my classes. Try literally anything else. What actually helped me was a high dose of magic mushrooms (~3g) and a ketogenic diet. Check out the book/movie 'how to change your mind', there's a section on chronic headaches. there's a ton of publications on it too https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35546382/. I know this shit sucks. After topiramate failed they gave me some SSRI and getting off that was a fucking nightmare.
