>start doing reta>lose 12 pounds in 5 daysAnyone else on this shit? I've been weighing myself for weeks before starting so this is accurate, I'm started to get worried about this though, I don't think it's healthy to lose that much weight. I've also completely cut sugar from my diet, only water, protein, and lots of walking. But still, I feel so bloated all the time, I feel I'm fucking up my stomach.
>>77330374all glp-1 does is kill your appetite. it hardly does anything else. reta specifically also bumps up your fat burning metabolism a little. but the main way you're losing weight is because you've been eating less.your daily calorie intake has gone down a lot from whatever your TDEE is. if you've lost 12 pounds in less than a week you must be fat as fuck.
>>77330393I'm 5'9" and weighted 200 lbs, now I weight 188 lbs
Personally, I would cycle it. I don’t think I’d shed more than 30 lbs at a time on this stuff. If you lose 30 lbs you either lost it so fast that it fucked you up in other ways it you were on it so long it fucked you up in other ways. So I would draw the line somewhere, get off, try to maintain, then hop back on again later.
>>77330401OK, then there you go. 5'9" 200 lbs is obese. You're losing weight because you're not eating as much. Or maybe you took a really big shit. I don't know I'm not a doctor.
The main reason I won’t take this shit is because basically every study on it shows that overweight people who use it gain all the weight back when they stop.
>>77330411Like I said above the reason they gain it all back is because all glp1 does is reduce your appetite. If you're addicted to food or sugar or whatever then glp1 isn't going to address the root cause. It's like smokers who take nicotine patches or try the gum and still can't shake their addiction. It works for some people but for most people they'll hop off ozempic and go back to eating way too much food. It's like every other fad diet.
>>77330418You’d think some time with no appetite would break a food addiction.
>>77330425I guess not. You'd think some time with no drugs would break a drug addiction but oftentimes it doesn't. People relapse.I also hypothesize that fatties will lose a bunch of weight, notice they've lost all this weight, and begin overeating again because they're skinny again and have no reason to diet. Also external factors like stress or genetics or eating processed slop that wires your brain to eat more. I don't know, I'm not a doctor or anything.
>>77330374>fucking my stomachLower the dose thenIn that short of time is all non fat mass water weight anywayGlucose, glycogen, food in stomach, intestine waste etc The first like 10-15% total weight is always that, then the fat starts going once it gets slowerWith glp1s though it will go faster than without obv so you may not see the slowdownGood news, fat is probably nextBad news, most if the big dip you'll regain if you resume eating normallyGood luck bro
>>77330374For some reason cardio fucks my physique and bf% appearance. A lot of mr olympias swear by the incline treadmill, also because the drugs with high bpm will explode their heart.
>>77330374These weight loss peptides were sold like the miracle cure for fats but instead I only see body builders getting easier cuts than before while the fat people just gain the weight back. The moral of the story is that effort and discipline are still the solution. If you are not willing to do life style changes then there is no miracle pill that can save you.
>>77330374it's water weight. if you eat less, and particularly if you cut carbs out of your diet, you can flush out an immense amount of water weight in a short amount of time. if you're lucky you've lost maybe 1lb of actual fat.
>>77330411Because overweight people have no self control and are inherently lazy. As soon as the peptide wears off they are right back in their local Burger King
>>77330374How bad at lifting are you that you're using retatrutide?
>"water is wet" thread about reta number 28389394Yaaaaay
>>77330393this isn't true at all. I've been on munjaro and lost about 8kg in 2 months and I've hardly ate less at all. Started around 97kg and now 89kg
>>77330706I can't lift, I'm disabled with a bad spine. I went on a 8 mile hike last week and was bedridden for 4 days.
