There's this Chinese or Korean dude who always hogs every machine he sits down at, taking at least 8 minute breaks between sets. I've asked to work in with him before and he's let me, but today he hesitated before saying yes.

I do my set and put his handle back on the lat pull machine. I expect him to get right to it because I'm standing there, but instead he pulls out his phone and starts watching fucking Korean webtoons and texting people.

After about 4 minutes (plenty of time for him to have rested and done his set) I tell him I'm now ready to do my 2nd set next. He's flabbergasted and spaghetti is spilling out of his pockets. I finally get pissed and tell him to watch cartoons on his own time. Either he doesn't understand me or he can't deal with conflict and eventually gets back to his workout.

I'm pulling 50 lbs more than this fucking douchebag and he's wasting my time gooning in the gym instead at home like a normal human being.

What is the appropriate course of action here? More points for autism.

fake story. the Korean guy only does compound lifts and barely uses the machines (just for supplemental abs, hamstring, calves and light quad work).

and the Korean guy mogs you in every lift - 265lb bench press / 335lb hexbar deadlifts.

women also constantly giggle and check him out in his extra hot large black tank top and gym shorts.

He weighs 140 lbs wet on a good day.

I empathize with you but shit like that is just the reality of public gyms. The more you try to stop people from wasting time, the more psycho and in the wrong you appear to be. Just the way it is. Either suck it up or invest in a home gym

>hey man can i work in
Literally solves every single gym situation no matter how grave

Fair - and you're right. I don't want to be a psycho but it's just such a lame thing to do. I'm considering switching gyms once my pass runs out anyway.

I've asked him to and he's let me, but today he hesitated and was being weird about it. And even if I work in with him he's still taking 8 min+ rests. I've had no issue working in with other people, just this weirdo.

There is this guy in my gym who is kinda attractive and he is with his gf (which some days she gives me the ‘fuck me’ eyes) and today I asked the guy and he told me ‘I have 3 and she has 3’. Also I tried respecting him and not go after his girl who definitely wants me because I strength mog the guy but here’s the catch. It was the first time I heard the dude talking and he talks and acts like a fucking FAGGOT, and I’m not joking, he was holding a Stanley cup and I thought it was his gf’s but it was his. Also they left with two different cars but both of them are coached by the gym owner. What are the chances they are not fucking?

You should definitely fuck him. Outright ask for a threesome.

But honestly men are more feminine/softer nowadays.

Show him /sci/entific evidence he's resting 2 long.

>When the training goal is muscular hypertrophy, the combination of moderate-intensity sets with short rest intervals of 30-60 seconds might be most effective due to greater acute levels of growth hormone during such workouts.

None, you already fucked up.

Next time don't make contact. When you encounter a guy like this, figure out his routine, when you see him on a particular machine, just hog the machine he always does next.

This one is already lost, since you started being friendly-ish. Now you'd have to explicitly inconvenience him to get your way.
>>
You and your gym buddy just go up and ask how many sets left, If its a lot (lol) you ask to work in. Either way you just stand right next to them until they're done
>>
OP you're kind of a fag

If you can't deal with normies and just go to a different machine you shouldn't be out in public revealing your power level.

You're not the main character and nobody gives a shit.

Every thread I have ever seen about shit like this vindicates my home gym. The idea of sharing equipment disgusts me
