i cant gain weight, i give upim tired of walking up to my gym receptionist and saying hi for the 1000th time while looking like the most impoverished lifter in the building. then i change clothes and go lift dumbbells while everyone else has arms bigger than my head
>>77338448Glad you gave up.
>>77338448hyperthyroidism - get it checked
>>77338448you didnt try shitno one cares how you feelmake it work or fuck off
>>77338448Investigate your thyroid, whether you have any connective tissues conditions like EDS, you need to know what you are working with before idiots tell you to "just train harder bro" with zero plan or technique and you wind up giving yourself a permanent injury.
>>77338448EAT MOTHERFUCKAAEAAAAAAATTTTTT
>>77338448Eat proteins. I bet you are not at 120 grams per day. (eat vegetables and fruits as well).
>>77340110every meal should be 1 part carbs, 1-2 parts protein, ~negligible part fat. an avocado or some evoo here and there is ok. low fat diets of the 90s actually are closer to "correct" than where most people are today.
>>77340110eating more than 60g of protein is impossible
>>77339802It's not that simple. Some simply cannot unless it's the right food. And underlying conditions mean they might burn it too fast.
>>77338448Im swole as fuck eating literal candy and pasta and some eggs. Get fucked OP, thats what you get for being white
>>77340137>>77340523this is actual cope, as a licensed personal trainer, athletic nutrition expert and fitness instructor. you can easily get above 60g of protein if you have somewhat of a regular healthy diet, not even a fitness diet. and ppl saying "I can't lose weight" or "I can't gain weight" due to metabolic issues is such a cop out answer. only a VERY small percentage of the population actually have something going on internnaly which makes it ALMOST impossible for them to do so.here is some advice if you're skinny and want to bulk up: the only way to gain weight is to eat more. not any amount of supplements can help you and its all a scam, just eat more... I don't even take protein shakes because I personally dislike artificial processed foods and supplements, and I get an intake of around 150g protein daily. it is hard but it is possible, if it were easy then everyone would be doing it. just keep in mind its a marathon not a race. so take it slow and steady because you're doing this for yourself.
>>77340772>due to metabolic issues is such a cop out answer. only a VERY small percentage of the population actually have something going on internnaly which makes it ALMOSTYes, it can be related to how their digestive system is working or whether they are even absorbing the nutrients as opposed to pooping it all out.
People are talking about le heckin diet, but with that kind of a body, you would gain muscle even if you're on a jeet diet. Just look at jeet dalit workers. All they eat is bread, rice and some vegetables. This is not about diet, it's about genes or not being active enough in your youth. If you were not active as a child, there's literally nothing you can do. Your tendons are just too fucking weak to lift heavy weights, your CNS just isn't developed enough to send the signals to your muscles to lift weights. You're permafucked.
