Are front squats, russian twists and chin ups enough for building enough core strength and mass? I don't plan to look like a bodybuilder but i want a clearly noticeable, well built core.

Frontsquats are great, and considered as the trve squat in the athletic field, dont listen to the genetic dead ends shitting on them.If you absolutely dont want to train abs directly, do some weighted carries. Farmer walks, suitcase carries, rack carries, yoke, sled push/pull whatever.
