>Ops, i did it again.
Did what?Hurt yourself being a retard?
>>77339589The only people I know with injuries like this are boomer bench bros yet you go online and everyone blames completely fine shit like upright rows (literally just a slower clean pull) like everyone is just out there doing olympic weightlifting. Youtube experts need to shut the fuck up
>>77339609He played with my heart
>>77339589>have shoulder pain for years. >decided to say fuck it, and go into bench again. >after a few weeks, the shoulder routes during a press and gets inflamed>decided to rest for a month, laying ice and taking inflammation meds >the pain is now all gone and my shoulder has never been better. What the fuck did i do? At any rate, i decided to give up on bench pressing (hell, chest press in general) and just switch up doing flys instead.
>>77339627Got lost in the game
>I played with your heart
>>77339614I can confirm. Had a partial tear of supraspinatus when benching. Went through rehab, ditched a bench press and my shoulders have never been better.
>>77339629Load less and do more rep. Heavy weight low repetitions work best but are for professional bodybuilders. You can still impress Stacy with 18 reps at 50% of your maximum. In the end, if it's to impress the women, you shouldn't hurt yourself for it.
I hurt something across my lower back doing back squats today. It’s like those pivot muscles you feel when doing deadlifts. I have no idea what I did wrong besides maybe going fast and sloppy
>>77339589Recovering from a surgery for throwing a cross punch that didn't even connect. Went for a double leg after which fucked it up even more and kept fighting for like a month injuring it more and more before stopping. Now I'll have to spend the 2 months recovering doing physiotherapy and will only fight for real again in the next 4 months at the very least.>>77339679Both are permanently injured, but it's just chronic pain and it won't get worse so I'll just tough it out. I don't know if it was the army, flat feet, marathon running, 4pl8s squats or martial arts 4-5 hours a day. I destroyed my body in the last decade.
>>77340411Yours sound a lot worse than mine, but I had chronic knee issues for a couple years. I started working a lot on stretching out my quads and hamstrings, and worked actively towards maintaining the arches of my feet at all times but especially while squatting heavy. Seems to have fixed my issues.
>>77339589>hurt my shoulder/wrist/elbow again>the culprit isn't bench>it's squats>again
>>77339664It's been like a decade... You bastard bitch
>>77339589I fucking hate my shoulder. Why does it take so long to heal? Ive been using machines for the last month with low weight to let it heal and its still giving me issues
>>77340411Fellow flat footed long distance + basketball and very occasional MMA anon here.Ever tried farmer walks with light weight walking backwards? That exercise fixed my decade long knee pain in a few weeks. When i dont do it the knee pain slowly comes back, when i start doing it it goes away.
>>77339589bpc157 tb500 and kpv (just do klow atp) with higher reps lower load for a few weeks worked for me
>>77339664oh baby baby
>>77339629>>77340108I had pain for like 7 months, none of the YouTube tutorials helped. Benching at lower weight for high reps is what eventually fixed the pain. It's like my shoulder didn't progress as fast as my arms and chest so it needed more grinding at lower weights. I dropped all the way back down to 65lb and restarted my progressive overload, going up 10lb once I could do 4 sets of 20. It used to hurt benching anything above 95 after I hurt my shoulder but now I'm up to 145lb for 4x20 with no pain.
>>77339589Shoulder mobility work like facepulls, halos, and club swings isn't just a meme.
>>77339629Happened to me as well.Rest is literally the key. I laid off lifting for like 3 months and only stretched and it went away after like a full year of pain.Never felt better, even after getting back in the gym.
>>77339589>>77339609I was doing rear delt raises and lateral raises now the back of my neck hurts like a bitch because im a dumb bitch. Know any good stretches for that?
