Is low-fat diet the best diet for health and longevity? Seriously, why consume them when you can synthesize them, they elevate LDL and disrupt carbohydrate metabolism?
>>
>>77342924
Why eat at all?
Sun, breathing, internet fasting and prayer.
I believe in you.

Carbs are essential, you need to either eat them directly or eat protein that your body than converses to carbs. Fat isn't essential.

>Is low-fat diet the best diet for health and longevity?
No. This one has the best mouse and fly evidence: https://www.sciencealert.com/cutting-back-one-amino-acid-increased-the-lifespan-of-mice-up-to-33
>>
>>77342956
They contain PUFAs.
>>
>>77342959
So the best diet is high-carb, high-gelatin (as protein source), no fat and no pro-aging amino-acids (leucine, methionine, cysteine).
>mouse and fly evidence
Consider that while mice mostly die of cancer, for longer-living animals factors like glycation (insulin resistance), atherosclerosis and myosteatosis may be more important - and here low fat diet has clear benefits.

Ketolards hate the fact that not eating carbs breaks down muscle to make carbs.

>no pro-aging amino-acids (leucine, methionine, cysteine)
Consider that you'll literally starve by entirely omitting essential amino acids, and life extension studies involve only temporary restriction instead.
>>
>>77342981
Why temporary restrict instead of consuming minimally required amounts?
>>
>>77342957
Then your faith isn't strong enough.

High-fat diets are the driving cause of endotoxemia which is what causes the huge spike of inflammation that drives virtually every modern disease. The saturated fat chylomicrons shuttle endotoxins across the gut wall and deposit them into the blood stream, arteries, brain, and organs. Endotoxins are extremely poisonous byproducts of bacterial cell walls. Essentially bacteria shit.

I've decided to try HCLF for my cut because I might as well just experiment with it to see what's up. If it's actually a cheat code then it would evident in a couple of months and if not, I'll just stop doing it.

The scientific literature is pretty clear that the diet factors most commonly correlated with lean body composition, athletic performance, feelings of well-being, and longevity in most populations are:
1. Higher protein
2. Higher fiber
3. Higher carbohydrates
4. Unprocessed foods
5. Low to moderate fat
So no, it’s not the best but it is up there.
>>
>>77343567
Fiber probably wouldn't improve health in absence of dietary fat and caloric surplus.
>>
>>77343418

Diet with PUFAs are still worse than fat-free diets.

>>77344652
Health-benefits of fiber are mostly due to slowed absorption, more satiety and impaired nutrient bioavailability (all of which result in lower weight and diabetes prevention, so there wouldn't be any benefit if you're not eating at caloric surplus), as well as tighter intestinal junctions which prevents endotoxin absorption - but if you're diet is fat free endotoxin absorption is already negligible.

I agree with w.e this science is because lean meat and vegetables get you get ripped. Vegetables support hydration, lower cortisol levels, help with thyroid hormones, and improve sleep. Lean meat is life. Not the fatty sick farmed animal meat, but wild is best, though lean farmed animal meat is next best to wild. You can drop body fat and gain muscle by eating these two on easy mode. There’s no need for bulking or cutting.
Anyone know the best time to supplement with psyllium husk?

it depends entirely on your meal timings. I take 2tbs with about 250ml juice between meals once a day. you can take it 15min before a small meal as well.
>>
>>77345518
How fine?
>>
>>77345523
what? just take the husks.
>>
>>77342961
They barely have any PUFA, you retarded memer.
>>
>>77345690
Yes, how finely ground is the supplement you take. 2 tablespoons of fine husk powder is 30 grams of fiber, whereas roughly ground would be much less and a Much more reasonable amount of fiber to have at once. You can never tell here though which is why in asking.
>>
>>77346176
They have a lot of PUFA.
>>
>>77342924
Yes, once you take out pension fraud, low fat diets are the healthiest.

>but what if I don't get enough dietary fat
You'd have to try to do this.

I buy the husks, take them like this. 2 tablespoons is 7g fibre.
