Example

They'll do bench press, then dumbbell press, then weighted dips

Like, how?

If I do ONE of those lifts, the following lift is completely destroyed.

For example

If I do 50kg dumbbell presses (each hand) for 3x6-8 reps, I will barely be able to do bodyweight dips after that, but i can do weighted dips with 40kg+ attached to me for 6-8 reps normally.
Ive seen guys who do

>2 plate bench for reps
>weighted dips with good weight for reps
>dumbbell presses with good weight after that for reps

How are they doing that? my chest muscles and triceps are cooked after going hard on the first lift. Is it possible they're actually way stronger than they weights theyre lifting, and thus they're able to do those decent weights throughout all exercises? like for example maybe the guy could bench 3 plate if he wanted to for the same amount of reps, but hes sandbagging and lifting at like 50% of his true potential?

I just dont understand how people have that "strength-stamina" to keep doing decent weights lift after lift...my strength immediately plummets dramatically after the first 3-4 sets, is that low T or something?

Glycogen is pretty much replenished after about 6 or so minutes rest which is probably the time they take to move to the new equipment.

What really bakes my noodle is why some people will run from equipment to equipment doing like 10 different tricep workouts instead of just doing more sets.

I didnt get to a 50kg dumbbell incline press as a 5'7 manlet 70kg bw by not understanding how to train.

I am 70kg and dumbbell incline press 50kg dumbbells (each hand) for 6-8 reps for 3-4 sets

I can also do 70kg + 40kg weighted dips but only if I do those dips FIRST.


If I do the dumbbell incline pressing first, I can barely do bodyweight dips after that, despite having the strength to do pretty heavy weighted dips

The point is I see people do heavy lift after heavy lift after heavy lift, as if they dont lose any strength-stamina throughout their lifts

You simply aren't ready to do them or you're going way too hard on one or all of them. What are you eating before the gym? How long are you resting?

Do less weight on following lifts. Get a notebook and do this:
Chest Day, MM/DD/YYYY
Bench - Over 9000 - 12x
Dumbell - Over 8000 - 8x
Then next week
Bench - Over 9000 - 12x
Dumbell - Over 8000 - 12x

I have strength stamina.
Imho its highly genetic and has to do something with fast-twich (sprinter) muscle and the reapective CNS wiring being dominant.
I often have had my absolutely best record breaking lifts when i have exhausted my other lifts. E.g. i as now remmeber how i went from 140kg deadlift to 175 1rm few years ago right after i did relatively long squat and running workout. I re-thought all my training after that day.
I also noticed that friends often would gradually gas out throughout the workout while my energy was sproadic, up and down throughout.

Now some 6 yrs later this stamina still is here, but i can admit its not something you do every workout. This is the "good" workout, when you feel good, had good rest, food, hydration and just work out hard. Its absolutely more healthy to have good tempo on a single big exercise and then dedicate the rest of the workout on Lightweight accessory lifts
