Hate to kill a thread for this, but no /hgg/ up.If I wanted the absolute minimal home gym, could I get decent results with just sandbags like this and calisthenics? Any recs on sandbag exercises?
>>77347767imagine wanting to look like this chud
when i was doing my looking up of stuff i found that bands and pulley type machines are the best, i ended up getting a bowflex which is extremely tall, but i think nowadays you can get a very compact thing with pulleys and with that basically you can do most exercises
>>77347767what compels the goyim to draw on themselves like this?
>>77347767Sandbags are only the most awkward and annoying form factor to lift and all calisthenics are a meme compared to free weight progression, but yeah sandbags and calisthenics sound great OP go for it.Also don't put that hate to kill a thread shit in your OP. You should be proud to kill a thread for yours. Fuck that other thread, that OP was a faggot.
>>77347767You're a fucking pussy and can't even come up with an answer by yourself. You don't even have the confidence to have a title for your own thread without it being a question. You clearly won't put in the work and never have before because you're a loser. What a waste of an adult white male. I hope for your father's sake he had another son. I bet you didn't even call him today.

>>77347767You'd be MILES ahead and better if you bought a pair of adjustables, the heavier the better. And do high reps with isometrics.Or hunt online for a deal on a barbell and plates.
>>77347767>home gym general>never toilet gym general
>>77348191this dont make the same mistake i madeI boughted two 24kg adjustable dumbbells and i already hit a plateau with them Now I need to buy new 40kg dumbbells atleast i can sell the old ones to a friend who wanted to start working out
Here's my setup>70(?)kg sandbag for lifting shit up from the floor>Kettlebells and plates for shoulder press, rows, pullovers ect.>Bulgarian split squats>DipsAll I really need is a pullup bar although I can do neutral grip pullups with the dip bar if I tuck in my legs. It's not optimal but it was never meant to be.
>>77348601You have more than enough space for a proper rack though.
>>77347767this nigga wants to use FUCKING SANDBAGS LMAOING AT THE ABSOLUTE STATE OF /FIT/,COM
>>77348604Unfortunately ceiling is too low and I'm not interested in these widowmakers.
>>77347767Sandbags are very effective but you need to buy the strongman variety, not those handled purses. Get an Ironmind adjustable bag, it goes up to 300lbs and will last a lifetime.Though I hardly even use my sandbags anymore, I prefer natural stones. A variety of natural stones from 150-300lbs and a tree branch for pull ups is more than enough for any man to get strong and muscular, no gym required. My routine usually goes something like this:2-3 sets of each near failure>Sandbag floor press (never stones for obvious reasons) or log press if I am on the trail>Sandbag or stone row>Sandbag or stone squat>Pull ups of various grips to finish off the arms and lats without lower body involvement
>>77347767Pullup bar + rings + adjustable dumbbellsThis is all you need for a super minimalist setup.Pullups/chinups (and their variations) + dips (and their variations) as main lifts. Throw in some isolation work (curls, lateral raises, overhead extensions, etc.) with dumbbells and you are done with your upper body. Ring pushups are also very underrated. People usually shun them because they're just pushups, but with rings they become worthy of adding to your routine. For the lower body Bulgarian split squats and RDLs with dumbbells or pistol squats with rings etc. However sooner or later your lower body work will not be enough. If you got space hunt for 2nd hand barbell rack, etc.
>>77347774He looks capable, like I'd much prefer him by my side if we had to get actual shit done in a life or death situation or survival scenario. Most body builders are good at posing and flexing and that's about it. This guy looks like he could help clear fallen debris or rescue someone off a mountain or make our way through a devastating flood to safety.
>>77349194And even if you're a strong body builder benching 300lbs, it's not the same as hoisting 100lbs around or even swinging a 50 lbs kettlebell with snatches or cleans. I honestly crack up at the 20 years old at the gym who are posing like navy seal badasses after doing dumbell rows as if that's an actual movement anyone would do in real life hahahah you just know they'd be shaking if they had to climb a madder or rope lol

>>77348895Get a sturdy backpack, so you can do:>weighted pullups, dips, pushups and what not>weighted back extensions (you don't need a roman chair)>weighted lunges or squat or anything you want really>lateral raises or even curlsSturdy backpack, some weights, pullup bar, rings and maybe floor parallettes are absolutely enough for life. I'm not kidding.
>>77348646>>77348601You can surely find a rack or even a half rack that fits. You might not be able to do pullups over it, but for that you could have some stupid setup with a power tower on a lower height setting with your knees tucked back. Door frame pullup bars suck. The only other common exercise where height is an issue is standing ohp. To measure for that just stand straight and raise your arm while holding a ruler 9-10" above you. If it clears you are fine.
>>77349196this is sour grapes copeyou couldn't bench 300lbs so you shit on guys who canpathetic
minus whale just be a bag boy and carry groceries at your local supermarket
>>77349677>weighted back extensions (you don't need a roman chair)How?
