So, where is the study? Because i have quite a few questions now. You cant just post a pic of an article like this without the actual study. What are you? A braindead normie trend follower?
>>
our evolutionary success can entirely be attributed to our ancestors just eating weird shit off the ground.
like without cooked food we cannot maintain our minimum caloric intake. and you know we got into that shit because someone picked up a piece of meat that had been in a wild fire and took a bite.
>>
>>77348476
Makes me wonder if that concept applies to microplastics and lead paint and all the other shit we encounter on a daily basis that's bad for our health
>>
>>77348488
You have absolutely no clue how nutrition works and you shouldnt try to act smart about it. Meat is 100% digestible to humans and cooking it does not make it give more calories to us. Literally all the modern foods that we need to cook before eating right now are modern (often man-made) foods that our ancestors were never 'meant' to eat. Our real ancestral (pre agricultural) diet consisted of fruits and animals, both which are 100% digestible without cooking, and provide a very good amount of calories.

if you're just gonna watch tiktoks on your phone. please do it quietly.
>>
>>77348504
NTA but it kind of does give more calories because it’s easier to digest and therefore it takes less energy to digest it. That’s why our brains grew larger.
>>
>>77348523
Im not sure what exactly your argument is supposed to be or how you think you are debunking my argument. Yes, there are some estimates that humans have been using fire for around 1,5 million years, but that doesn't change anything about the fact that they mostly ate fruits and meats up untill 10000 years ago when agriculture started. The VAST majority (maybe with the exception of a few tubers) of foods that need to be cooked before we can eat them are post-agricultural foods.
>>
>>77348531
This is physiologically false. Cooking meat does not make it easier to digest or free more nutrients.
>>
>>77348511
>docile
Isn't lead supposed to make you aggressive?
t. nta
>>
>>77348534
so, we'd been deliberately putting things in fire for a whole million years before the earliest evidence of the modern humans. our dentition and digestive systems differ from our closet living relatives mostly in the fact ours are optimized to digest cooked food. yes we can digest raw meat, but doing so requires more energy than digesting cooked meat.
and earlier I used caloric intake as a generic term. but a calorie is a measure of how much heat is produced when you burn something in a pure oxygen environment... bicycle tires have a lot of calories, good luck living off them.
tl;dr
we need cooking to exist.
and we have cooking because monkey eat burned meat off the ground
>>
>>77348550
>but doing so requires more energy than digesting cooked meat.
This is simply a physiologically false statement
>we need cooking to exist
Depends on your perspective. From the perspective of an individual this is absolutely a false statement. From the perspective of a society or the human population as a whole you might argue that there isnt enough land to produce enough meat and fruits to feed all of mankind, and that we are reliant of foods like grains and potatoes that we need to cook, yes.

>Depends on your perspective
like all good acidemia there are dozens of subject matter experts that will kill each other if we leave them in the same room unsupervised. but I feel like I summarized the in favor evidence in my previous post.
and it kinda makes a lot of sense. we are the only creatures known to science that can cook.
>>
>>77348538
cooking is pre-digestion, it breaks down the food, cooked meat is easier to eat with our frugivore teeth and takes less to digest. tastes better too
>>

>Cooking meat does not make it easier to digest or free more nutrients
Cooking meat does make it easier to digest and free up more nutrients. This is physiologically and biochemically true.

You probably have brain parasites from eating uncooked meat that make you profoundly retarded.

and at this point I'm just sticking around out of amazement. You're like one of those little retarded yappy dogs that are too stupid to do anything except chase whatever you put in front of them. You don't even understand what it is or why you're chasing it but it doesn't matter because your three brain cells are telling you to chase.

>Many health problems are attributed to crowded and poor quality housing, unemployment, marginal access to health services, food insecurity and behavioural and environmental factors. In Nunavut, a child health survey found that some 31 per cent of Inuit infants were hospitalized for bronchiolitis during their first year of life, and 42 per cent of Inuit children had sought medical attention during the previous year for a respiratory illness. These high rates of bronchiolitis and other respiratory tract infections have been attributed to household crowding, exposure to tobacco smoke and defects in immunity. As well, nearly 60 per cent of infants aged nine to 14 months in Nunavik are anemic (primarily due to insufficient nutrition).

What's with certain people being so obsessed with Europeans and milk? They keep seething about it in various ways and try to say it's unnatural, but many people around the world drink milk. Indians drink a ton of milk but these people don't seethe about it.
>>
>>77348732
Milk is nature's sōylent, if I couldn't drink it I'd be mad too
>>
>>77348732
Europeans don't have a savage religion that incorporates milk drinking as some semi divine act that people have to tip toe around. Indians could go back to burning their wives and certain people wouldn't complain.
>>
>>77348732
Milk is the genetic divide, it's S-tier food, if you can tolerate it, you are genetically superior in both strength and intelligence.
>>
>>77348476
reminds me of a yt video where the woman pointed out a medical paper on tolerating milk. basically if you just keep consuming it, your body will get used to it over time, barring any serious underlying issue for milk intolerance. worked for me, after >30 years of not drinking milk products.

>>77348732
Europeans are mammals after all...

Yeah so Christ- hating jews slander Christ once again. What was this sketch based off of? Do they have any of Jesus' remains? Any descriptions which contradict the established historical ones? Thanks for outing yourself as a jew though.

People in those extremely cold habitats who eat raw meat eat some kind of other thing that helps with digestion. The inuit would eat the pre-digested plant material in deer stomachs for example.

agriculture is way older than a measly 12 millennia. you have to be a complete tool to think that anatomically modern humans were incapable of building a single advanced civilization for at least ~300ky.
>>
>>77348538
Cooking does in fact free more nutrients because uncooked muscle tissue contains a lot of protein that isn't accessible to digestive enzymes due to being buried within a highly organized 3D structure the enzymes alone cannot unfold. Cooking denatures these proteins, which means they come unfolded into simpler structures and accessible to enzymes. This is literally highschool biology.
