Rope pushdowns and overhead rope extensions feel awful to do
>>77349839Dips are good - work up to them, then you can do weighted dips if you want - not necessary your body weight is more then enough
>>77349852yes they are goodwould you do skull crushers with them also ?
>>77349839use pic related
>>77349854for which, push downs?
>>77349853I try to hit each muscle group 2-3 times a week, so I do all 3
>>77349856yah. you can do them bent over to simulate skull crushers or just do them standing.
>>77349861if you do them standing it wont stimulate the long head of tricep will it ?
>>77349866dude don't worry about that shit.
>>77349839> Rope pushdowns and overhead rope extensions feel awful to doThats because they are awful. Why would you purposely make an exercise LESS stable if your goal is hypertrophy of the tricep. Put the handle on it, bring an incline bench over, sit on the bench and do it that way. Complete stability, all effort is on the tricep. Poliquin Pushdowns is what theyre called. No more crunching over, leaning over and looking like a retard when you're trying to do heavy pushdowns
>only one tricep exerciseYOU ARE FUCKING WEAK, DO MORE NIGGA DO MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE
>>77349918I if I do dips and skull crushers is this enough :D
>>77349915>Poliquin Pushdownsdiamond pushups blow away everything
>>77349839>overhead rope extensions feel awfulShit-tier exercise if you try to do them with both hands and a high cable as many people do, god-tier single-handed off the floor and I'd probably pick that, with Rippetoe style LTE second. Both can use the whole triceps but it's easier to go to total failure and get a pump with the cable.
>is the best triceps exercise in your path
>>77350487>>77350490nope >>77350463>diamond pushuphttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msyOQ3YV5L8
JM Press™>>77350627>weight plate drops on your handits ogre
>>77349929Realistically yes since Tris are worked in many lifts. Make sure to do high volume on the pull down the triceps can handle a fuck ton of work.
>>77350627diamond push ups are basically just a bodyweight jm press
>>77352308Use a power rack or set the pins properly you dingus.
>>77349839None of this shit makes a difference.Just find a movement you like and do it.
>>77349839>>77349839tricep was my weakness so i'll say this:you need at least 2 movements = overhead and pushdown to sufficiently grow them. i personally use 3 movements 2 with longhead bias and 1 for lateral head bias. i also have a push variant so overall, 4 movements in total.pick someone with good arms on youtube and try to absorb what they do and make your own.
>>77352414The advice of roiders is with less than the advice of fatties, sybau, ywnmi.

>>77350490My experience as well, closegrip bench presses have worked the best for me, I have tried all exercises, and still this is the winner for me (for strength, not bodybuilding).
>>77349852>your body weight is more then enoughthan*and post physique
>>77352687that is a JM press, not a CGBP. they're similar, but a JM press generally has a closer grip (though maybe not if your CGBP grip is very tight) and the bar travels to the neck/chin instead of the chest.
>>77352414Fukken sick rears brother. How did you make them grow? (other than EQ)
>>77349839skullcrushers are a pretty good exercise yes, but what kind of a question is this? Why would you only want to do 1 exercise? Like.., what is your plan in practice?
>>77349852>Heavy to do for a beginner>Inefficient hyperthrophy range>Inefficient/hard to make consistent progressive overload>Heavy compound, hard on the CNS, impacts recovery, etc>Not an isolation, so depending on goals/routine, a bad choice as a "1 triceps exercise"So.., why exactly are you recommending dips..? I'm not saying they are a bad exercise per se, but recommending them as a contended for "the 1 triceps exercise" is just ridiculous m8. There are so many catches and downsides to dips.
>>77352308>>weight plate drops on your hand>its ogre>>77350627>>diamond pushupno weight is necessary if u go narrow enough and never actually push up the way he does it there's just short burts of tension anyways:>>77350627>>diamond pushup>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msyOQ3YV5L8 [Embed]in fact elevation (like in decline bench press) is better for inner and lower pecs, some shoulder protraction in this undulating isometric hold, awesome for triceps and pecs >>77352741>So.., why exactly are you recommending dips..?diamond pushup in elevation does what dips are wrongly advertised for - in dips shoulder relocates to where you can generate most power meaning back and then it's all lats pecs will get damaged in sternal part and get shortened, stiff - costochondritis from dips
>>77352729by holding back when i do rear delt movement. people often go too far and lose tension in their rear delts. if you can actually feel rear delts contracting, you are golden. here's a shot of delt of my natty client who won his ifbb pro card as a natty.
You only need 1 lift for every muscle group with different angles. Mike Mentzer was right about this.If you can do Weighted Dips up to 400 lbs then fucking do them.If you can do a 225 lb CGBP or JM Press then do it and be great at it.
>>77349915>Why would you purposely make an exercise LESS stable if your goal is hypertrophy of the tricep. Why are you doing 5x5 for arms bro just do higher reps, instability gets smoothed out. You're not growing more doing heavier weight.
