I went back to the gym recently at 39 and was out of commission for almost 2 weeks.I used to do wrestling and olympic lifting and did a moderate version of some of my old work out. Only 2 sets but a lot of compound movements. My life can't afford for me to be down like that again, so I'm looking for anything you got.

>>77350055It goes away as you continue to train silly goose. Also ibuprofen
if you were actually out of commission for two weeks, it wasn't doms.
>>77350099I previously lifted for 15 years. It was doms. Dull ache, can’t bend at the elbow, biceps swollen and tender to touch, feel exhausted like I have the flu when it starts going away.
>>77350055>Turmeric>CurcuminOkay...first off, turmeric contains curcumin.Secondly...IT'S A FUCKING SPICE. You don't need it as an overpriced supplement. You put it in your food.
Time is the only thing that cures DOMS. I have shit genetics for DOMS or something because no matter what I get it horribly and always have. Tried everything you can think of short of opiates
>>77350057no, don't use aspirin OP. a certain amount of inflammation is healthy. what you want to do is maximize your body's reversal of the process, not artificially reduce it
>>77350055Steroids are #1. 100mg TRT reduced my DOMS by 90%. On 200mg test and 100mg nandrolone I get literally zero DOMS.When I was a nattycuck, cardio post lifting helped a bit.
>>77350289You are low IQ.
anyways, OP, I hope you're having plenty of vitamin C. vitamin C helps turn protein into muscle
