It feels like I'm always in a losing battle with my flexibility.
I used to be able to do a pigeon-pose and front-fold. Even pic, I could get my elbows on the floor (but not my chest) with a flat back.

Now my legs feel like taught steel cables. I try to pull and stretch them but they won't budge at all
ESPECIALLY since I started lifting, they've just become so stiff.

Any flexy anons here on fit? What routines are you following?
I feel like I've tried so many different things to little effect

shes staring into my soul o_o

>ESPECIALLY since I started lifting
that's what lifting for "legs" does among other things
stop "leg" lifting
>>
>>77350369
my current routine:

1x60s butterfly stretch (chest to floor, my legs hinge weirdly)
1x60s kneeling hamstring stretch each leg (my knees bend when I do a seated toe touch still)
1x60s crossover arm stretch each arm combined with the next two
1x60s seated ankle stretch
1x60s hero pose
1x60s cobra pose + wrists reversed
1x60s squat balanced on toes + back of hands
1x30 wall angels

I had to look up a lot of these names, since my approach has been to just stretch in a way that feels right or to copy poses I've seen. I used to have some stuff for hip mobility to progress towards a pancake stretch, but it was a weird dynamic movement I didn't like, so I need to figure out something new there

annon said it doesn't work:

>Now my legs feel like taught steel cables. I try to pull and stretch them but they won't budge at all
and inadvertently identified the cause:

>ESPECIALLY since I started lifting, they've just become so stiff
stiff i.e. injured, artificially shortened, muscle defends itself from further abuse by limiting its range, that's stiff, that's identifiable injury

walk for "legs" in pace in upright posture
>that's it?
i do a little walking twirl from time to time
>like literal walking 360 ?
yeah
>>77350428
walking is healing squat/deadlift/lunge induced pathology
>>
>>77350369
the only thing that gives me results are PAILs/RAILs

>>77350369
I have no one to show off my flexibility to.

>PAILs/RAILs
can you elaborate?
