Do you log your calories as you go in the day? Do you preplan and measure your day/week and follow that?
>>77351833>log as you go in the dayYes>preplan and measureyes. but more in the sense of budgeting for special meals. If I plan to eat out or meet friends for a slice, I add that the night before or in the morning so I roughly know how much I can burn through for lunch and snacks. It’s rare though.
>>77351833no, I just never get full. It's easier to maintain or lose weight if you walk around with a partially empty stomach.
>>77351833Little of both. Like I'll cook all the chicken/porkloin and divide the package weight across how many days I plan on eating it, add two scoops across the board, and whatever cottage cheese or yogurt. The carbs and stuff is all just by whim/what I have left calorically.
>>77351833Log calories? No. Track protein? Yes. Every time I focus on getting my protein in above all else, I always end up in a deficit.
>>77351833I've created a few meals I eat regularly to keep track of calories, macros, vitamins etc.
>>77351833i log a majority of what i eat, excluding veg. most of them are either eaten raw or steamed so i don't really consider them calorically. i count everything else, including sauces and oils, until i memorize it enough to move on to other shit. it's helped a lot
so long as i want to be low bodyfat %, im tracking my calorie intaketheres no other way around it, im not mentally ill enough to try wing it with some ultra restrictive fad diet or fasting diet because while that shit might work for some people, its literally doing it on hardmode making life as difficult as possilewith cico i just eat w/e i want and hit my protein goal and the restriction comes from the total calorie intake instead of the avoidance of arbitrarily picked foods
I've just been logging throughout the day and it's a lot easier than i expected. It's almost like a little game to see how low i can get calorie wise but still have a satisfying meal
>>77351833Preplan everything. Sometimes the whole week.
I calculate the calories and macros at the beginning of cut/bulk phases, but I eat the exact same things at the same weight every day (with the exception of a pre-workout fruit if energy levels call for it). Outside of that specific situation tracking is necessary
