How often do you deload? Do you drop weight, reps, and/or sets? By how much? tfw no deload gf

I run 6 week programs and always deload on week 6. I just take 25% of the weight off and drop the reps by half. Keep the amount of sets.
>>
I deload when i get ill or travel which isn't often
>>

About every 9 weeks.
I don’t touch anything metal it’s all body weight movements till I get a serious pump.

Pretty much never unless I'm getting loops of restlessness then those short dreams where something explodes and you wake up panicked. Then I just keep my routine mostly the same I just put 2 rest days between gym days instead of m/w/f. Gotta love the simplicity of fullbodies.

I deload when joint and tendon pain demands it. (Probably a bad strategy)
>>

I train in 8 week blocks. So week 9 is an off week or just very light weight and/or easy volume on a priority lift. I count weeks i am sick or injured as deloads.

Deloaded into you're mom last night if you catch my drift.
>>
>>77354310
just take a week off
none of this "just drop the weight" nonsense
>>
>stall on lift
>change lift to a similar lift
>continue progress
its a type of deload I guess

Deloads are a meme and a retarded one at that. If it works for you it's literally proof you're going to hard or your recovery is shit. It can take as little as 2 fucking days for your neural adaptations to begin to regress.

>If it works for you it's literally proof you're going to hard
My body deserves it
>or your recovery is shit.
It is and always will be, can't help my bottom of the barrel genetic excrement crafted body.
>it can take as little as 2 fucking days for your neural adaptations to begin to regress
Absolutely, my body practically rots if I take even a little bit of time off. So the only way to address this is to punish it further by skipping deloads.

Once a season I do a deload week which is still my same routine but at 75% plus I act silly
>>
If reps get (overly) sloppy, deload (a little) you aren’t doing yourself any favors by banging out garbage reps and you run the risk of fucking your shit all sorts of up. Also you can deload but not lose ANY intensity, just lift it more times.

>Don't workout at all for a week or two every few months
>Come back stronger and fully rested
>Even drop an extra pound
What did Mentzer and dorian mean by this?
