I weigh 220 and want to start deadlifting. I have been going to the gym for 3 years now but never deadlifted. How much should I expect to 1RM?

>>77355084start with 1 plates on each side, add moar until it feels adequate. just make sure your technique is solid enough that its not dangerous. im 165, and i deadlift 275 for 4 reps so you can bet that you'll lift more than me in no time
