If you can't live in the now and the future you'll probably make long term sacrifices so you can jerk off and eat cake, but being aware of where you're headed is ultimately the only route to success without hoping for luck. So you've got to emulate the struggler archetype, or you won't be in the right mindset to make short term sacrifices, and if your luck goes bad and suffering is thrust upon you, you won't have practiced, so you might be vanquished. >>77355731My experience is not this. Every thing I have ever achieved (I'm talking big things) always came through opportunities and discernment. Grinding through hard work can only yield so much result, but at one point there's literally nothing else you can control by yourself. You gotta let yourself meet the opportunities (which are infinite) and learn to discern and make right choices. The meek shall inherit the world, meaning those who consistently make the right choice (even if it sometimes looks like it would be a setback)
Life isn't actually suffering for smart people. It sucks you guys got stuck in this rut, but it's honestly your own fault.

Certainly being able to accept and deal with the suffering that pays off is a valuable trait to have; but taking all pain without discernment is just bootlicking shit. This modern religion of self-flagellation is basically just egotistical cope; everybody has suffered for no gain at some point in their lives, that's just life; but for many people its necessary to try rationalize their pointless hardship as having some hidden benefit. "it cannot be that I'm just a raped bitch, my struggles must have made me a better person than those who avoided the pain or only took the necessary blows", or some bullshit cope like that.
