How do you meet your protein goals? I can't handle dairy whey and pea protein tastes genuinely horrible. Is the only way to suck it up?

you aren't a professional body builder that needs to maximize your diet and every work out to perfection.

>How do you meet your protein goals?
I eat whole foods mostly fish.
>>
>>77355732
fish is boring to eat
>>
>>77355729
Who said anything about professional? You can have personal goals in life. I'm trying to gain mass without getting fat and I can't afford to spend a lot on meats and eggs.
>>
>>77355738
if you're poor, you should be working on making money and not concern yourself with protein goals.
>>
>>77355741
work is the worse thing that can happen for your gains. the stress ain't worth it
>>
>>77355732
Fish is expensive if I want to buy properly raised ones. The supermarket variety are sus.
>>77355741
I can afford to work on both do since I'm in grad school.
>>

just eat more dairy thats it. its very easy to hit your protein goal, 5 eggs, fermented dairy and a dinner of fish/meat/offal/chicken is enough. I hit around 180-200 daily without even thinking about it
>>
>>77355747
Never considered offal. Guess it's time to hit the Chinese recipe books and cook intestines and brains.

Health is wealth and there's literally not a single thing you can do for wellness and longevity better than building muscle tissue
>>
>>77355759
literally dirt cheap, more nutritious than meat and has a shitton of protein. consider it more. just dont overdo liver due to vit a toxicity
>>
>>77355716
This has been solved by bodybuilders for literally decades. CHICKEN BREAST. Cheap and high protein:calorie ratio. 1lb raw = 140g protons
>>
>>77355716
Chicken breast. Aldi oven backed sandwich turkey - - highest protein saturation I've seen for lunch meat. Almost as efficient as chicken breast itself. I mean if you can't do stuff like Cottage cheese and Greek yogurt, meat is going to be the only good way outside of protein products and protein shakes Etc.

>fish is boring to eat
If you're hungry, you don't care. If you're not hungry, you're doing something wrong. If you're eating for entertainment, you're not going to make it. Eat to live don't live to eat. I wouldn't skip a multivitamin because it's boring.

aldi do a whole roast chicken for a fiver.
i heat it up in my oven and usually eat it in one sitting, but it's easy to divide up.
chuck the leg meat in some rice or soup, eat the wings for an appetiser/snack, put the breasts in a sandwich or eat as they are with some nice carby side like rice, beans or potatoes.
two meals and a starter, nearly 200g of protein.
like avatarfag said, a nattie needs like 100g a day. basically 1g per kg of bodyweight.

For me, its been steak, chicken (I prefer thigh but breast more efficient for the protein on the cut), eggs, greek or regular non fat yogurt, and whey protein. Tuna, sardines, and egg whites are also all very good options nutritionally but I kind of hate the taste
>>77355732
Frozen bags of salmon or tilapia are good options for cheap and quick protein when I'm busy. After thawing, it takes like 8 minutes max in the air fryer. I agree with the other anon though, chicken and beef are much less abrasive to eat.
>>77355811
Basically my version of failson guy dinner. A rotisserie, a bag of frozen veggies, and a couple of sweet potatoes or potatoes can last me a couple of days
>>
I'm the fish guy what the fuck is wrong with y'all? Just stir fry it with some coconut aminos and peppers and onions and garlic and ginger and call it a day. With shirataki noodles if you're a keto fag and with rice if not. Hurr durr muh fish boring you all are weirdos.
>>
>>77355854
i was a fish guy, fish is delicious and amazing for lean protein. I was eating 3 cans of tuna/mackerel a day, fresh when I was off work, but then I looked into mercury poisoning and had to back off and just have fish/seafood as an occasional treat.
>>
>>77355861
try oily fish/salmon or deens. Or cod
>>
>>77355716
>How do you meet your protein goals?
What are your protein goals? I get my protein from supplements mostly from food.
>>
>>77355861
>>77355864
Yeah mercury thru tuna can be a problem. Better to get sardines and only have tuna sparingly.
