I do suitcase and overhead carries for 1 sets each at the end of leg days. If you want abs you need to lower your bw, simple as. otherwise work your core. I do ab rollers palloff presses suitcase carries overhead carries and landmine 180s for direct core work in the week

but I really recommend doing movements for each of the purposes of the trunk -anti extension, anti rotation etc-. I used to have a lot of back pain from deadlifting/squatting but now I have none, and those lifts got up crazy ever since I increased my core strength.

I am using this one simple trick of not having back pain from deadlifts and squats by instead doing leg press and bulgarian squats.
