Progressive overload is the most important thing, forget about time under tension, the stretch, training frequencies, high or low number of reps, etc etc.
99% of your progress come from progressive overload.

Yeah if you do legs before everything and don't take into account that if you did everything once a week your bigger muscles would outpace the rest due to larger muscles taking longer to recover. Aka if you are doing legs 1-2x a week then you need to do upper body 2-4x a week to stay proportional assuming you are smart about intensity.
